My last new bottle to try in the 2012 spring variety pack. Poured into pint glass a hazy orange-tinged golden color with white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast and citrus spices. Taste is much the same adding coriander and other spices. Light body, moderate carbonation, yeasty sweet finish. Refreshing and easy drinking. djroehler (290) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Light hazy gold, foamy white head. Aroma is orange, coriander, yeast. Taste is orange and wheat, sweet, light yeast, great body and texture. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 31, 2013
hazy gold pour with a thin white head.
aroma is earthy wet hay.getting some subtle tangerine/orange under that. light spice.
Flavour has a soft citrusy sweetness to it. definite house yeast (?) character combines with the grains of paradise to make sure you know it’s a BBC brew. Bit maltier than the summer ale with a nice soft sweetness. RSRIZZO (2021) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 11, 2013
12oz bottle poured into a Weizen glass at 40°. Color is a light yellow gold with a slight haze and a Thin head. Aroma is a mild sour wheat scent with faint citrus notes. It has a light body with a crisp fizzy mouth feel. Flavor is fruity, big tangerine and a touch of lemon, then coriander with a note of white pepper. The after taste is smooth with a bit of the citrus hanging on. Overall its a well done White, much better then most with nice flavors and a refreshing feel. Part of their Spring Thaw 2013 mixed pack bought in Montpelier, VT. Hazy golden colour with a warm cap and small lace. Orange and light spices aromas. Even hints of maple. Refreshing mouthfeel. Orange taste with some mild coriander. Grain comes out in the aftertaste with honey notes. A different witbier that is interesting.

Hazy yellow with a disappearing head. The orange and coriander hit the nose with a crisp tartness. The flavors of the coriander and the grains of paradise are sharp but the body is a bit thin. The aftertaste is that of a clean tart. AirForceHops (7702) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 13, 2013
"Spring Thaw" mix pack 12 oz. bottle. My Sam Adams perfect pint glass shows a hazy gold with thin white lasting head. Smell is citrus and spicy wheat. The taste is fruity, lots of orange peel, lemons, and thin bread malt. Really to me it takes like a Sam Summer with spices added. Flavor really is nearly identical. Well, I applaud Mr. Koch for smart marketing strategy. This and a few others (Maple Pecan Porter and Double Agent IPL) are only offered in the Spring Thaw pack. smaynard6000 (1227) - Apopka, Florida, USA - JAN 17, 2013
Pours hazy bright yellow with small white head. Subtle aroma of orange peel and wheat. Light bodied with some spiciness and tangerine notes. Has me counting the days until spring. Good.
