Straight from the bottle, June 2014 so this isn’t fair. Malt bomb cuz it’s so past its date. Malt predominates with some citrus. Both in nose and flavor. Malty, caramel, mild orange and lemon. Ehh. I’m sure fresh it’d be half decent. But take this one with a grain of salt. Not sure how it’s even on the shelves this old. axl (1030) - Lund, SWEDEN - JUN 29, 2016
Draft. Semi-clear yellow with one finger white head leaving thick lacing. Aroma is citrusy with lemon, light orange and wheat. Taste is similar with zestier lemon and more subdued wheat and orange. Smooth medium mouthfeel, light to medium carbonation and soft lemony aftertaste. rdixon77 (2944) - Georgia, USA - JUN 29, 2016
Pretty basic tasting IPA. Had some wheaty aspects and wit spices. Down the middle. jmichaelg (12) - - JUN 25, 2016
Basic IPA. Nothing special or of note. Opaque coloring was the best quality. Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2016
12oz bottle 6/11/16 (Graduation Party)-Pours slightly hazy yellow with a small head. Aroma of hops and spices. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew was quite tasty.

Second beer consumed out of the summer variety pack in a bottle. I just had the Got to Gose debacle. Got to Gose’s Got’s to Go. This one is certainly better.
The appearance is a hazy gold with a generic white foamy head. The smell is sweet on the nose. The citrus is certainly there. The hybrid of a Belgian style wheat with the piny hops and citrus of an IPA is actually a pretty decent marriage. They say there’s apricot and orange peel in there, and I’m getting that. It’s refreshing, balanced. Not bad Sam, redeeming after that Got to Gose

Pale, hazy yellow with dense white foam. Faint hops and apricot / citrus nose, maybe some wheaty bread. The initial sweet flavor gives way to the hoppiness. I like the idea of a wheat / IPA hybrid, but I am not sure this one stands out enough. ChadPolenz (1847) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - MAY 22, 2016
2015 BJCP Category: 21B Specialty IPA: White IPARperez (265) - Florida, USA - MAY 21, 2016
AROMA: Orange and apricot peel is strong. Slight perfume or soapy smell. Spices and esters override hops. 8/12
APPEARANCE: Pale orange/yellow. Extremely hazy. Small, dense, white foam. 2/3
FLAVOR: Overall palette is similar to Blue Moon: witbier-ish but faux. Dry bitterness throughout with slight orangepeel flavor. Apricot presence is invisible. Strong black pepper sensation on finish. Seems to have a dirty taste and maybe even some unintentional sourness. Offputting. 6/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium body and well carbonated. Palette is extremely astringent with lingering unpleasant aftertaste. Not refreshing at all. 2/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Difficult to believe this is the intended taste; seems like a bad batch. Flavors do not harmonize. Can’t finish it. 4/10
TOTAL SCORE: 22/50

This is the first white IPA I have tried. Using a wheat base really works well in this particular recipe. It mutes the hops to achieve a good balance on the palate. The hint of sweet apricot on the finish is pleasant. I like this brew.
