COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sam Adams Whitewater IPA. A wheat ale brewed with apricots & spices.
This hazy brew combines the crisp character of a white ale with the intense pine and citrus flavors of an India Pale Ale. We took the unique combination to a new level with the sublet addition of apricots, which provide a slight sweetness to balance the bitterness of the hops. Cheers!

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy golden brown with a nice inch plus white head that lasts. Taste is of hops, pine, orange, coriander, citrus, some malt, some caramel and some warming alcohol. Similar aroma. The body is mostly full, a touch on the watery and oily side. The finish is slightly dry and has a lingering bitterness. Enjoyable, but not the easiest beer to drink.

Pours an orange color with an off white head. Smells if hops and malts. Pretty nice flavors. Very balanced.

Cloudy look, orange in color, pretty decent off white head. The smell is sweet, wheat, very fruity, yeast, and citrus hops. The taste is some light bitterness, almost spiced, fruity, and yeast. Pleasant but not special.

Bottle while camping from a sampler box. From the bottle so no idea how it pours. Aroma, from the bottle, is minimal at best with very little other than lager aroma coming through with some wet hay. Taste is more wet hay, malt, distant hop bitterness. This really tastes like it was brewed with a lager yeast and just a slight hoppy version of a pale lager. Dislike to say the least. Scroll past.

Bottle. Aroma is hoppy with notes of apricot, pine, grass, and some more citrus. Palate is crisp and smooth. Taste is bitter with a dry finish. For a Sam Adams sampler beer, this was pretty good.

An IPA on the lighter side without sacrificing full-flavored hoppiness; would make a great summer quaffer.

As with most IPAs this smells "green". Herbal. Pours with a lingering head. Slight sediment. Pail orange with a copper core. Taste wise it is not PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE hoppy. Easy drinker. Mouth feel is soft almost flat. Not really to my liking this one.

drank on 2/3/12 in a Sam glass. Pours yellow/orange and a bit cloudy, good head. Nose is hoppy, taste is too with just a hint of sweet.

Got this as part of a variety pack. Pine, flower, and fruit in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet and finishes with hop bitterness and apricot. I thought this was decent even though I dont like apricots; this probably scores higher if you do.

Bottle from roger wilco. Hazy orange pour, some hops/spices on the aroma. Taste of spices, hops, some apricots. Good.
