Appearance - An apricot-golden color with a nice white head that forms big and leaves to give decent lacing.
Smell - Apricots really strike me at first. A bit of lemon and orange are mixed with the apricot and finally grassy/floral hops work their way into the end of the smell experience. Its quite pleasant and unique.
Taste - Sweet apricot and citrus first come to the tongue. This is followed by a bit of maltiness which quickly is taken over by some of the floral hops and piney taste. The citrus then comes back at the end to finish the taste profile.
Mouthfeel - A little creamy tasting at first, which then fades to a more normal viscosity. The carbonation is just about where it likely should be.
Overall - An interesting beer. The fruity aroma and taste mixed with the very floral and piney hop make it worth a try. CacheManyHose (712) - HONG KONG - MAY 17, 2014
Smells of light clove/pepper, apricot, grassy hop, bit of wheaty malt. Tastes lightly of pepper, bitter, dry and foamy. HKdIPA (798) - HONG KONG - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle from QClub at the pool. Bright hazy orange pour with dense thin head. Piney aroma with a bit of fruitiness. Taste is very sharp, bitter hops - pine and dried fruit with very very dry bitter citrus peel finish. Bubbly. Not bad at all. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 14, 2014
From bottle. Fresh hoppy nose with apricot, pear, and grapefruit. Sweet and floral. Medium golden amber hazy with foamy-creamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Dry start with moderate bitterness. Mild pale malt sweetness but mainly dry hop bitterness. Finish is resinous and hoppy. Dry heavy bitter after.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy orange color with lots of chunks and a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet, tart and tangy orange, pine and bread. The flavor was bitter and fruity with notes of pine, tropical fruits, orange and bread. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. I get the citrus, apricot and spiciness right away but equal are the bready floral and caramel qualities, pleasant but not a strong aroma it takes a couple sniffs to discern the elements..looks good a cloudy amber gold with lasting slightly off white head good lacing..taste..hops upfront but not as dominant or lasting as I might have thought I taste the wheat now in a bready yeasty way sweet fruitiness tartness and spice..dry bitterness lingers on the palate and well carbonated..overall isn’t bad but drink it while its ice cold bluejacket74 (1991) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - MAY 9, 2014
12 ounce bottle, best before May 2014. A friend gave a bottle of this to me the other day, so we’ll see how this is. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy golden/orange color with an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like citrusy (orange, grapefruit) and pine hops, apricots, and some bready malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also a bit of peppery spice noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s slick and creamy with moderate carbonation. I think it’s a decent enough IPA. I wouldn’t turn one down, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to find some, either. Still, I think it’s worth trying if you’ve never had it before. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2014
Aroma: Dried fruit with hints of pine and citrus hops.
Appearance: Cloudy straw color with a rocky head.
Taste: Light sourness with medium bitterness. Hints of sweetness at the edges.
Palate: Medium body, average carbonation, long finish
Overall: It’s decent, drinkable, but certainly not mind blowing. Tastes like a fruity IPA, and the wheat elements aren’t as apparent as I’d have liked. theOptimator (385) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 4, 2014
Aroma is apricot and light citrus. Appearance is hazy light copper with medium off white head that retains for some time. Taste is citrus flavor hopping with some apricot fruitiness blending well with light caramel sweetness. Hop bitterness is smooth and crisp. In balance with the malt. Palate is medium +. A bit fuller than you would find with most IPA’s especial one this small. Overall really more of a malty pale ale than an IPA, but still nice and drinkable.
