Not as horrid as I thought it would be. I guess that is not saying much. Nice bitter finish. Now I will go on a mini rant- What is up with Sam Adams and all the fruit and spice and junk they add to beer? This beer has in it-
Special Ingredients: Orange peel, coriander, and apricots.
Opening up Mom’s Spice Rack and throwing in spices and fruits, is cheating. Any decent BrewMaster should get those flavors via the correct selection of hop varieties and yeast strains. I think I know what is up with this- It is a marketing tactic. Middle and Upper-Class, Americans, who can afford premium products, like "flavored crap." I buy freshly harvested Olive Oil in a boutique "Olive Oil shop." 90% of the oils are flavored, and apparently one of the few who by the traditional stuff. Same in Teavana, every time I go in there, they push 20 flavored teas, before a tell them to go shove it, and I buy plain green tea. There are also flavored coffees and the like. People who are true connoisseurs and experts, don’t fall for such stupid gimmicks. Real Brewmasters have been flavors out of beer, which resemble pine, particular spices, citrus and citrus peel, bananas, tropical fruits, for centuries, without dumping these actual substances into the brew. Sam Adams gets no respect from me, for using such sleazy sales methods and gimmicks.
12 oz bottle poured at Randy's in methuen. Pours golden with a white head and lots of floaties. Smells like citrus. Tastes bitter with a citrus and hop flavour. Better than I expected.

Pours a medium golden color. Lots of big floaties in there. About two fingers light beige head. Pretty long lived. Decent retention, nice lacing. So far so good, this looks like it will be fun.colui72 (1033) - HONG KONG - SEP 3, 2016
I could smell the orange peel before I opened the bottle. Orange peel is very strong. Also smell some good pine, and apricots or peaches.
Taste is pretty good. A little different. Piney, citrusy, fruity but not too much. But I’m getting a lot of spicy hops. It’s good, and a little different. It works pretty well. Don’t really taste any wheat.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Spicy to the mouth. More bitter than 60 IBUs. Not something I would make a session beer, its more of a sipper. As easy drinking as you’ll get from an IPA.
Overall, it’s quite good. Bitter, hoppy, flavorful. It’s better than I expected. The lingering bitter spicy stuff is kind of growing on me now. Yes, I would recommend this. Yes, I would probably buy this again.
Typical decent commercial IPA, tasty and smooth. Golden, slightly hazy, with a large white head and good lacing. Citric hops aroma.. Notes of tropical fruit and lots of citric and bitter hops in its taste. Not bad.

Drank from bottle. Loads of apricots, peach, some grapefruit, citrus. Light watery to oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Quick3Beers (1236) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 16, 2016
Pours a translucent light amber from a bottle. Big pine and nondescript citrus aroma. Flavor is a somewhat citric acid sour, with a huge dose of bitterness. Not picking up on the apricot but I wonder if they add a little fullness in the mouth. Good beer. jflopsu (1617) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 29, 2016
Pours a lightly hazy orange with white head. Has a citrus and pine aroma. A sweet citrus hop, pine, and grain taste. A heavily carbonated beer that has a lingering bitter hop and sweet citrus aftertaste. bartzluke (598) - Oklahoma, USA - JUL 24, 2016
12 oz pour from bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours dull find, moderate soapy white head. Body is medium, a little sticky. Nose is piney, resin. Taste is bitter, not too complex, resin. Not exactly what I think of when I consider white IPAs. guil0000 (433) - New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 20, 2016
Pours a clear yellow color with a nice small white head. Nose of orange peel, citrus, some spricot also. Light body. Sweet taste with a small bitter finish.
