Malty, bready, and a slight sweetness. A strong malt presence is prominent there as you first smell it. A solid offering for the season. Not great but a good, to very good, offering from Sam Adams. SG111 (2199) - New York, USA - DEC 24, 2016
700th beer rated for 2016. Bottled from winter variety pack. Pours ruby mahogany color, off white head. Aroma is toffee, fig, cinnamon, ginger, orange. Flavor is cinnamon, fig, raisin, some orangey citrus. Not bad actually. borre_m (1751) - NORWAY - DEC 23, 2016

From a bottle. Not bad at all, a decent earthy spice and crisp lager finish, would drink again. jjsint (3729) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2016
On draft at a steakhouse in Seminole. Dark ruby, clear with a small whitish head. Cinnamon, raisin, spiced tea and horehound in the aroma. Nice sweet taste, at least at first, after which is starts to become a bit cloying. More bitterness in the finish. Citrus and mulled spice in the aftertaste. OK... not quite convinced.

One of my go to winter seasonals. One of the first crafts I’ve ever drank too. So maybe I’m bias. It’s damn good tho and easy to find 7stern (674) - Bromma, SWEDEN - DEC 9, 2016
Dark copper with full head, small bubbles. Malty aroma. Some cinnamon in the taste, lingering soya tones. ttoadee (1734) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 8, 2016
Amber pour, quick off white head. Nose is malt and spice. Bittersweet. Middle is cinnamon, medium malt, and woody undertones . Finish is malty with a dusting of orange peel. Sum doesn’t fit the parts. TheBeachBeers (16) - - NOV 30, 2016
A very smooth, yet tasteful lager. Very wet to the palate, with hints of orange and ginger. adasko (2233) - Poznan, POLAND - NOV 27, 2016
Clear, copper color. Tiny, very delicate head. Aroma is not super intense, but definitely you can notice the extras. Most clear is orange peel, then a bit of cinnamon and ginger. It’s also just a bit malty. Pleasant aroma. Similar case in taste, enjoyable but not really overwhelming. Not strong enough to be real winter warmer, but still spices make a difference. Perfectly carbonated, pretty smooth. It’s ok.
