Keg @ Duke of Argyll, Soho, Several times in the latter 2000’s. Don’t remember it too much to be honest, rating it years later given it’s now retired so there’s no chance of tasting it again. Ordinary tasting with a carbonation is about it and not a huge difference from the current version available.

sam’s best lager, on tap it is light, crisp light sweetness, and a clean dry finish

managed to get a pint of this before the last barrel went at Hyroyds WMC. It’s been years since I’d had on of these and I’d forgotten how good it was. straw/hay/grass aroma with a little lemon citrus. flavour is slightly malty with a hint of hop. prickly carb. slight bitter finish. allegedly the 2.8 version tastes exactly the same. i’ll be on the look out!
