Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Apricots and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet apricots, toasted malt and a touch of grass. The finish is sweet with a pure apricot aftertaste. Decent overall.

355ml bottle shared with Steinar at the Samuel Smiths pub Angel Inn. Bright golden body under a remaining white head blanketing the glass. Herbal dry apricot aroma. Honeyed sweet apricot to the taste buds. Sweet fruity ending. Drinkable,
but far too sweet in the long run. (Leeds 04.07.2017). Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 22, 2014
from Bier-Bienne - hazy dark orange beer with a little foam left; sugary ice cream aroma of apricots; hugely sweet, sticky and medium-bodied, lot of residual sweetness and long artificial notes of apricot - no, thanks Sammy (12596) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 5, 2015
Very Good quality fruit beer, you have to appreciate apricot. gentle, good dessert beer and most drinkable. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"another well made fruit beer by Sam Smiths (i also liked the cherry and raspberry). the aroma is wonderful...more juice than beerlike, but just exploding with fresh apricot and a slightly tart aroma. body is fuller than expected, as is the look (no-seein through color of apricot juice). the flavor is nice...almost too much fruit, pretty sweet with a hint of tartness and hops and wheat. i wish these were not a couple bucks more than SSmiths regular stuff, but i may revisit the three...this is good. a touch less sweet and a bit more sour and this could be frikkin incredible."
