I did not expect large great white foam on a cherry ale, but it is what it has. Not surprisingly, the flavor is full of ripe cherries and little else. The flavor is, of course, cherries, but in a juice-like shape so as reminiscent of a fruit juice instead. I miss a little tangy aftertaste that you probably could find in a true lambic. Here they have brewed a standard ale on barley and wheat, and made it through two fermentations, and finally add the cherries. However, it is refreshing and mouthwatering, and the taste of real cherries. In no way synthetically or perfumed. Long aftertaste.

Bottle @ Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 15, many thanks to Mike! Was dreading this, but actually, surprisingly, this was one of the beers of the night for me. Big cherry aroma, luscious cherry taste, not overly sweet and hiding the alcohol well.

I got this at Global Brew. Pours dark ruby red with a pink head. Taste sweet, cherry, dry. I thought this was ok. I wouldn't drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Robe rouge rubis. Pas de mousse. On ne sent que la cerise. Court en bouche. Beaucoup trop sucr pour moi. Une bire de fille.

19th Aug 2015: shared bottle at the Aug Shrewsbury bottle exchange meeting, cheers Mike. Glad Ive drank it, glad I did not buy it. Uber Cherry aroma and flavour, red beer with a Bakewell Tart nose and taste. not my thing at all. Scored objectively.

Aroma is sweet cherry, a slight earthiness, and sweet malts. Taste is an excellent balance of cherry and sweet malts. The cherry flavor tastes natural and very organic. Appearance is a clear red with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
