Also known as Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale
A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smith’s Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. This beer is blended with pure organic raspberry fruit juice and a previously cellared brew creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle from The Vineyard. Raspberry colored, nice pink head. Nice raspberry nose, smells like ribena. Flavour is quite dry, fairly acidic, a touch of yeast and a little sweetness around the edges. Nicely balanced. Light and fizzy.

Reddish, sweet, fruity like raspberry candy. Very sweet, uber candy, and not really balanced. I wouldn’t say "offensive" but I wouldn’t say "beer" either.

Bottle from single step health food shop Lancaster bought a year ago. Deep ruby red in my wide glass with an off pink light head. Aroma is acidic, raspberry, sweet and boozy. Yum. Rich, sweet fruity raspberry flavours with a hint of spicy esters. Mouthful is grand, all encompassing and almost silky. Very soft. Flavour is quite tart but balanced well by the sweetness and depth of texture. Surprisingly,I think this beer aged really well

from Bier-Bienne - cloudy reddish-brown beer under a long lasting pinkish foam; solid aroma of raspberries bubblegums; hugely sweet, medium-bodied and juicy; light herbal finish with strong notes of raspberries sweeties and lot of residual sugars

(bottle - 500 ml) Pink pour with a lightly pink head. Light raspberry jam aroma. Rather sweet but a tad tart. Big raspberry flavor at the start with a lightly tart finish and a fruity but tart aftertaste.
