Rötliches Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch süß nach Himbeeren, etwas malzig, hopfig, so ist auch der Geschmack.

Theydon_Bois (19546) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2015
Bottle at the Anchor Tap, 03/01/15. Cherry red with a decent crimson covering. Nose is raspberry syrup, light straw, faint smoke, light cherry and red berry notes. Taste comprises raspberries, sweet notes, berry pulp. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet close. Decent enough fruit beer, better than I’d expected, if a little sweet overall!

Twickenham Brewery tasting 08. Red, with thin pink/beige head. Bit sweetish. Raspberry, pippy, but utterly drinkable. Bit too sweet mind.

saxo (18567) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2009
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is red. Aroma and taste are raspberry juice and malt. Nice and sweet.

mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 21, 2013
Bottle at PIB, pours an opaque ruby red with a small pink head. Aroma of pure raspberries, not much else to say about the nose. Flavour brings out raspberry purée, with a medium sweetness that never cloys. Very pungent and natural tasting. Nothing artificial here.

Reddish, sweet, fruity like raspberry candy. Very sweet, uber candy, and not really balanced. I wouldn’t say "offensive" but I wouldn’t say "beer" either.

chrisv10 (17474) - DENMARK - SEP 15, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown/orange with small off-white head. Aroma is fruit and raspberries. Flavour is malt, fruit, raspberries, medium sweet, little acid, little dry and a little bitter.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 30, 2009
Bottle. It pours a hazy, red body under a a small, pinkish white head. Raspberry, sweetness, berry-like sourness and jam on the nose. A bit weak. The flavor is sweet and raspberry-ish, with some sourness. It lacks a bit, but is quite decent. Medium body with some acidity. Sweet, berryish finish. A quite decent one, even though it lacks something in both aroma and flavor. (090228)

A: The Raspberry beer pours a deep, dark, garnet color with hints of purple. There is a large pink head which is quite fluffy. S: You can definitely tell that this is a raspberry beer. The aroma is full of sweet raspberries. There is not much else to the nose other than the sweet, fruity smell. T: The taste is almost identical to the scent. The raspberry flavor is the star of the show and it is quite sweet. M: This is quite a fizzy beer, which works well for the style. It helps to cut down on the sweetness, as otherwise this would taste like syrup. D: The beer is a bit too sweet for my tastes. I enjoy a good amount of fruit in beers, but it tends to be more in lambic form so that the tartness helps to balance things out. I’m glad I shared this with my girlfriend as I don’t think I would have been able to drink it all.

Dedollewaitor (16171) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2011
Bottle @ Odense Tasting, June 2011. Pours deep blood red with a pink head. Sweet and sticky raspberries. It has a pleasant light natural tart bite. Though sweet - it’s fresh and drinkable. Smooth.
