A burgundy red ale with a thin pinkish head. In aroma, raspberry candy drops, a bit like fruit flavoured Halls or Certs, some raspberry jam, not bad. In mouth, a sweet raspberry juice with light malted notes, a tad too much on the alcopop side, but nice in the summer. LCBO bottle. Drake (13726) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 25, 2010

Taste of sweet raspberries, tutti frutti like, hints of almond. Sticky sweet ending. Drinkable, but not my kind of beer. (Leeds 04.07.2017). Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 28, 2014
from Bier-Bienne - cloudy reddish-brown beer under a long lasting pinkish foam; solid aroma of raspberries bubblegums; hugely sweet, medium-bodied and juicy; light herbal finish with strong notes of raspberries sweeties and lot of residual sugars thewolf (12591) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2008
Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Pours clear red, some bubbles sticking to the insides of my glass. A bubbly pink head on top - that actually stays for a surprising amount of time. Aroma is sweet and fruity, good raspberries and a slight citric tartness behind it. Fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly dry, some subdued tartness and a good sweet touch of raspberries. These beers, like the old Melborne are great alternatives/entries to a world of lambic. Good appetizer drinks as well.
