This beer is one of my top 10 beers. Great pour into the glass. Dark I mean dark chocolate color. Beautiful beer. Thick brown head that stays the whole time youre drinking. I definatly recommend!

Pours black with thick head.
Aroma: plum, chocolate, cherries in liquour.
Taste: really dry, a little bit sour. Chocolate, cherries, plums.
Medium body, a little bit creamy texture, average carbonation, bitter finish, aftertaste of cherries in liquour.
Its a solid beer, but considering that its supposed to be an imperial stout I am disappointed.

Black with reddish highlights and a creamy brown head. Fruitcake aroma - alcohol and dark dried fruits. Malty, fruity with a nice touch of tar. Surprisingly light bodied (relatively) for such big aromas and flavors. Excellent on all accounts.

Bottle. Opaque Black. Rich, sweet, smooth, dark, fruity, spicy, very malty stout. Caramelly, roasty bitter chocolate flavour. Enjoyed this. Nice Impy Stout. (2008)

Nice aroma of plums, alkohol. Taste is rather dry, chocolate and dry fruits. Quite nice but closer to baltic porter then imperial Stout.

Aroma: Caramel/licorice and toast notes Appearance: Black color with cloudy liquid and frothy beige head. Taste: Heavy bitter (with some sweet notes). Palate: Full body with slick texture and average carbonation. Bitter long finish. Overall: Very bitter and strong flavour; Good beer but maybe a bit too much to try different ones.
