Clear amber pour, moderate off- white head. Average retention. Aroma: biscuit malts, honey, floral hops. Light to medium body. The flavour starts with light to medium biscuity sweetness. The ending is super dry. Medium bitterness. Solid ale. Jury (288) - RUSSIA - APR 26, 2017

Keg at the Rising Sun in Smithfield. A very English IPA that looked nice and dark in the glass and had a good head. There was low carbonation and a pleasant mouthfeel. There was a strong and bitter flavour from the hops that was quite thirst quenching. It’s not spectacular, but very solid and one that I will quite happily have again when I am next in a Sam Smiths pub. john44 (3101) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2017
Bottle. BB May 2017; Drank Apr 2017 - Clear Orangey Gold colour. Good foamy off-white head. Very Malty; toasty malts, grainy, caramel. Light citrus grapefruit. Mildly spicy. Well hopped, grassy hops. Earthy vibe. Starts bittersweet malty hoppy with slight fruit and spicy notes. Becomes increasing dry throughout. Ends very very dry and bitter malty. Long lasting bone dry finish. Interesting beer; possibly unique flavour profile. Cannot remember the last time I had a beer that ended this dry. Liked it. Good stuff. Copenhagen 14/3 2017. 55 cl bottle from Høkeren. Some kind of pavilion on the label with the ubiquitous collection of gold medals. Pours clear golden yellow with big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is fruity. Fermented fruit, very light citric notes and harsh bitterness. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by amore heavy slightly rough bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and long. Nice English Bitter - solid and classical.

Great color, head. Minimal nose. Light and easy to drink. Grainy malts, earthy hops, citrus, mild nutty sweetness. Not big on the esb style but this is a well made brew. Almogabar (51) - MARIA DE HUERVA (ZARAGOZA), SPAIN - MAR 9, 2017
