Bottle from World Market in Redwood City, CA. Pours a huge bready head, looks like amber tea. Aroma is malts, earthy fruitiness. Taste is dirty malts, light bitterness. One of the better English IPAs I’ve had.

I firmly believe one of the worlds best beers. Not at all like an American IPA. It has a totally different hop character thanks to British hops. It's actually one of the most well balanced hoppy beers you'll find. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours amber with high off-white head. Aroma is little bit soap, light slurry, some fruits, hay. Taste is little bit dead, light caramel, grass, bitter hay, mango, tropical fruits, some dust. Drinkable!

Pours a medium mahogany color with an off white head. The aroma was a light nutty sent. The flavor was a medium malt flavor. The body was medium with a light bitter after taste. Overall it was okay.

From a bottle pouring dark golden with small white head. Maltiness is immediately present and light caramel nose. Taste is also rich malty sweetness with discrete but distinctive hops with a nice bitterness. Palate with some sweet tones and very shy hops.

very nice, clear, mellow, yet with just enough bite to know there are some hops. lovely very British beer......

Sure it has a nice clear orange colour with thick white and durable head (which I always appreciate), but the aroma is weak, just some citrus notes, malt and hints of caramel, almost no hops. And in mouth it does not get much better than that. It’s not bad, I kind of enjoyed its mild nature, the medium-light body coupled with the mild carbonation make it very drinkable but I’m not convinced. I expected something with a stronger bitterness (which you got only in the finish) or more complex and this was not. Anyway, my bottle had a different drawing on the label.

I tasted thinking be a ipa beer, but it’s a esb. Well, can you take the whole day ...

Really enjoyed this. Dark gold, almost amber in colour with a full, off-white head. Rich, aromas of malts and vanilla. Slightly woody. Taste is full with vanilla and wood, Other flavours of toffee, treacle, butterscotch gives it lots of character. Almost no carbonation make the beer very smooth and long lasting. Slight bitterness on the finish. Overall a realty enjoyable beer. So much flavour.

Bottle @ deTolly, Tartu. Pours clear amber with small yellowish head. Aroma: malty, caramel, hay, year old cow shit. Taste: sweet, caramel, malty, hay, weak toffee, metallic notes. Thin + body. Dry. Sweet finish. Not for me.
