Not a real smooth aroma or taste... Blame tradition I guess for that one...back in the day(1758) this would have been something wild! Today it's stale... But traditional... What?! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Half-pint at Angel Inn. Clear golden-brown, filmy layer blanketing the glass. Floral hops on the nose with malty sweetness beneath. Nicely blended taste of apricot, citrus and caramel. Ends with moments of leafy hop bitterness. Clean and rounded finish. Likable. (Leeds 04.07.2017).

50cl (?) bottle. Copper color. Yeasty and earthy aroma. Rich spice and malt flavor, a bit metallic. This rocks.

LazyPyro (1199) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2017
550ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a one-two finger off-white head. Aroma: malty, biscuity, toffee, caramel. Taste: sweet biscuity malts, caramel, toffee, fruity, hint of citrus, quite well balanced, light hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, carbonation is soft-medium, extremely smooth mouthfeel very easy drinking. Classic traditional English IPAs are not my thing but I enjoyed this one, great example of the style.

ArtificialCyst (1192) - Szczecin, POLAND - JUN 5, 2017
Bottle from Elysium. Aroma: Bread, toast, fruit, grain, toffee, caramel, diacetyl. Appearance: Clear golden body, mediumly dense head, quickly collapses. Taste: Toffee, caramel, diacetyl, light spicy bitterness, bread, light fruit. Palate: Semi-dry finish, medium body, low carbonation.

Towey1989 (2814) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2017
Keg at Sinclairs Oyster Bar, Manchester. A clear amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of fruit esters, grapefruit, some caramel, slight toasted, biscuity malts and subtle earthy hops. Taste of toasted, biscuity malts, caramel, slight grapefruit and subtle spicy, earthy hops. Light to medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, earthy malt bitterness in the finish. Well hopped for a premium bitter, lots of British hop character and subtle citrus. Malty overall but pretty good.
