Poured this beer from the bottle into a pint glass to sample. The beer had a light fruity aroma with touches of apricot and caramel, with light citrus hops and malty notes, but was a bit under-developed. The beer had a hazy, wavy, light sediment effect in a rich amber-orange color that had a good-sized white head with great retention and lacing, and top-notch cling. The beer had a sour fruit taste with slightly sweet caramel malt notes. It was a dry beer with lower carbonation and was a bit thin and chalky. A decent beer, but not a favorite, and overall not that exciting.
550 mo bottle. Pine and citrus smells. Pours orange with a rocky white head. Great sour tastes. Short astringent finish. Mild carbonation. Very good. dmako (1) - - SEP 4, 2017 does not count

Tap at Earl of Lonsdale, Portobello road. Clear golden/copper body, small white head. Fruity notes in the aroma. Creamy texture with bitter, fruity taste and sweet notes of honey and fig. Overall OK! scotty (1221) - SCOTLAND - AUG 26, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 A nice change from the very pale, very (in some cases overly) hoppy IPAs I've had recently. Lovely balance of malt and hops, the finish goes on for ages. Cracking brew! Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 19, 2017
Bottle @home. Pours golden, smallish white head. Nose is malty, slight fruit and floral, quite earthy. Taste is caramel, sweet but with a bitter finish.

Dark reddish brown, transparent, with a frothy white head and lots of gentle bubbles.
Smell is warm and crisp, leather, raw nuts, caramel, raisins, strawberries.
Taste is smooth and refreshing, nice elegant bitterness. Delicious and easy. jsmerig (1663) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2017
Pours a hazy reddish gold aroma is malty with some fruit notes. It's what I imagine the original India pale ales to be. Great English malt base with a flavorful hop finish.

Nice bitter - floral hops in aroma, some bitterness in taste. It smells like classic English ale and feels like it. Nice Rune (13350) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 19, 2017
Half-pint at Angel Inn. Clear golden-brown, filmy layer blanketing the glass. Floral hops on the nose with malty sweetness beneath. Nicely blended taste of apricot, citrus and caramel. Ends with moments of leafy hop bitterness. Clean and rounded finish. Likable. (Leeds 04.07.2017). rcasta (864) - EL SALVADOR - JUL 16, 2017
las de sam smith normalmente son muy buenas cervezas, llenas de sabor y cuerpo; esta no es excepcion
