Keg at Fitzroy Tavern. Hazy amber orange, lightly sparkling, small dense white head, full lacing. Aroma is soft malts, Horlicks. Body is light, pretty smooth, low-ish carbonation. Taste is light liquorice and molasses, burnt toffee vibe, a touch twiggy with some astringency. A bit toned down due to the keggy coldness. Tap at Glasshouse Stores. It pours amber with a medium beige head. The nose is earthy, toasty, dirt and brown bread. The taste is watery, toasty, earth, light spice and brown bread......drying on the finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Pretty plain. Not a whole lot of anything to it. Inoffensive however. Sweet and basic to finish with easy toasted bread and caramel. Simple and inoffensive but easily drank.
