From bottle at Cardinal with HDI 14.02.18. Clear dark copper. Beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of caramelized malt, dried berries and moderate hop bitterness. Good quaffability! weejoyrising () - - FEB 11, 2018
Moderate biscuity aroma and high malty-sweet caramel flavor with robust toastiness that yields gracefully to a moderately dry finish....
Medium bodied beer with moderately-high carbonation which adds to an initial body and bloom to the mouthfeel.
First English Brown Ale I've had - the bar has been set high, I think. Grumbo (4536) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2018

Brun med fint skum. Herlig blanding av nøtter og flytende karamellsaus i duft og smak. Smooth, litt tykk munnfølels. wgd3 (8) - Pittsford, New York, USA - JAN 8, 2018 does not count

Undated imperial pint > pint glass
A: Clear mahogany or tea color with a short tan head that falls to a stubborn film.
S: Sweet chocolate, a little stone fruit or fig, dark bread and faint alcohol.
T: Unsweetened Chocolate and bitter hops blend nicely with bitterness lingering. A hint of tart cherry and hazelnut.
M: Light and crisply carbonated. Slight resin on an otherwise fairly dry finish.
O: Haven't had this in years and it's nice to revisit. Old standby still recommended.
