COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed at Samuel Smiths small, traditional British brewery with well water (the original well sunk in 1758 is still in use), best barley malt, roasted barley, yeast and aromatic hops. Nut Brown Ale is relatively dry with a rich amber-brown colour and nutty flavour derived exclusively from small amounts of dark malt. Brown ales are a specialty of northern England. Fermented in stone Yorkshire squares.

Bottle. Beautiful mahogany color. Thick creamy head. Sweet and malty, but was a bit too cold when I tried it. Drinking it with spicy food is a bad idea as this was subtle and my taste buds were a little shot from the spice. Maybe try it with a Shepherds Pie or a Pork Chop. Or both.

Carbonatacin media.

Piana biała, kremowa, gęsta, bardzo wysoka i trwała. W aromacie orzechy włoskie, nuta toffi, słody karmelowe i nuta czekolady.

12 oz single bottle from Mollys Spirits. Nutty, rich, malty, smooth and creamy. Notes of caramel, light chocolate malt, light earthy yeast and hints of roasted grain. Solid brown overall.

Tasted by Cannery Row Beer Club. We found this one slightly above average for the genre. Cheers! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle, Bispham hotel, Blackpool. Pours chestnut brown. Taste is of chocolate, caramel, weak malt. I found this to be too fizzy, thin and neutral, and whilst drinkable, i was left feeling abit uninspired. Maybe it was an old bottle, and if it had been on tap i would have had a second.
