Very nice hints of coffee. Aroma is a bit on the weak side, though I don’t think it is bad. Nice foamy head and a beautiful dark look. Would absolutely recommend. danapsimer99 (7) - USA - NOV 27, 2002 does not count
Loved it. The oatmeal flavors add a creamyness that really complements the typical stout characters in this beer. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - NOV 25, 2002
Sour milk in the nose. Dark black color and a huge foamy head. Root beer-like taste with coffee tones, also a little butteryness. Medium bodied. Good stuff. Scooby (50) - Maryland, USA - NOV 25, 2002
A very good and different tasting stout beer. Not easy to come by but I drink it whenever is see it on the menu. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 25, 2002
Roasted malt aorma. Black with a rocky light brown head. Roasted coffe aroma. A nice one!

Samples vary widely. My latest was rather pruny, thin and unrewarding. American stouts offer so much more for the money. DankbrewedDank (162) - East Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 23, 2002
This beer is a classic stout. One of the first beers I tried as a young lad. Since this beer comes all the way from england & its in a clear bottle, it is always slightly stale by the time it gets here. jasonkpe99 (3) - Affton, Missouri, USA - NOV 22, 2002 does not count
Good for what it is, but I’m not too fond of such sweet beers.............. DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 22, 2002
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2003 5/31/02: dark dark brown with a big & creamy tan head which dissappears quickly, not overly aromatic, smooth but full bodied, nice oatmeal-like finish
