COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Bros tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smiths small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle from the Maypole, Cambridge. Yellow-orange, very clear and almost flat. Light apricot, resin, crabapple, Chardonnay in the bouquet. Mellow, subtle sour-sweet taste, which rounds to a slightly more pronounced sourness in the finish. Exceptionally tasty and more like a proper beer than many fruit beers.

EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - APR 18, 2015
This beer pours a very clear golden color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma blends apricots and bready malts, and the taste is similar: mildly sweet and slightly sour with strong apricot flavors all the way through the aftertaste. The palate fuses a slick texture, medium-light body, and a soft carbonation.

Idiosynkrasie (6688) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 18, 2015
355ml bottle. Clear, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, apricot aroma. Taste is sweet-and-sour fruity, apricot notes, slightly prickling sherbet character. Not too sweet, without artificial touch, slightly monotonous. OK.

Birra allalbicocca. Colore chiaro. Pi facile apprezzarla in piccole quantit. Personalmente un po troppo dolciastra.

355 ml bottle, ABV 5.1%, at Robert Raikes House (a Samuel Smith pub), Gloucester. Served ice cold. Golden colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of apricots. The flavour is medium sweet, not cloying, with distinct apricots throughout. Low bitterness.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a very strong fruit (apricot) aroma. Appearance- A pale yellow similar to AAL style beer, with a small white head. Taste- Has a powerful fruit flavorful that is rather sweet. Too sweet for me. Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation, the sweetness subtracts from the beer to much for me. Overall- Not my cup of tea er. beer. To much sugar and not enough beer flavor to keep me drinking this more often.

ClubGonzo (5535) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 20, 2015
Bottle from Utobeer, London. Pours a clear golden body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is strong apricot tones, grape peel, pale malts, wine gum and hints of butterscotch. Taste is apricot, butterscotch, pale malts and hints of wine gum and straw. Medium body and carbonation. Quite a pleasant apricot beer, which is a rare genre to a) make and b) pull off properly. Another smooth English beer from Samuel Smith.

Light fruity apricot smell, slightly cloudy appearance, sweet and bitterish taste (like rhubarb?) That starts good then diminishes in quality pretty quickly....however, bitterness goes away and beer gets better with time

Minder mig om en meget sd blemost. Kvalm i stedet for frisk. Vandet og ikke specielt pn at se p. Den her er mere eksotisk, end den er god. P ingen mde mindevrdig.
