2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2013 550ml Bottle. The pour was a clear light orange with a small (less than 1 finger) white fizzy head which diminished almost immediately after being poured with very poor lacing.
The aroma was of a light bread malt, a slight floral hop and a very mild cobweb yeast with a light fruity ester and a mild hint of caramel.
The taste was a bit malty with a light sweet caramel presence and a slight fruitiness throughout, with the finish becoming mildly bitter towards the end. The flavor faded very quickly from the taste buds with a faint bitterness left behind.
Mouthfeel was light in body and creamy in texture with an average carbonation.
Overall this was a brew that had a decent enough flavor, although it was definitely nothing special. It would however be a decent brew for a hot summer’s day...
Clear, dark yellow with moderate, beige foam. Toffee hops dominate the nose with grassy hops and a little spice. Medium body, light fizz, slightly watery but with a dry finish.

Has a butter toffee like aroma. Soft hazy cinnamon colored body. Just a light pencil line thick head. The butter toffee carries over on the taste too. Has slippery mouth feeling. Fairly clean finish and goes down smooth. A fairly simple but respectable brew. Closs_the_man (9) - Bluffton, South Carolina, USA - AUG 29, 2015 does not count
High drinkability, decent taste, not great alone, but pretty good with food.

"now that’s the stuff. sam smith’s organics are all a fragrant, fresh, and flavorful shot in the arm for lighter beers. usually when i crave a lighter beer, it’ll be one of these, just don’t expect more than a nice session ale eduardovl (1467) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 330ml bottle served in a tulip glass.
A: Pours a beautiful and clear amber/copper color forming a medium, solid and thin bubbled beige head. Medium to low retention and lots of spotty soapy lacings left in the glass
S: Strong toffee and caramel malts in the upfront. Notes of brown sugar and brown bread. Great flowery hops. English character
T: Strong caramel malts and sweet grains upfront. Notes of toffee, brown sugar, citrus hops. A bit fruity too, with some notes of grapes and plums. Mild hops bitterness: herby and a bit citrus (Again, strong British hops character). In overall, a dry but smooth beer in the mouth
M: Light body. Medium carbonation. A bit sticky and molasses with a malty and mold bitter aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Very refreshing beer. Strong British personality. World class British Pale Ale

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a lightly hazed light orange amber color with a two finger white head. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to give a nice level of lacing.
Smell- Wow. I was not expecting the huge fruit aroma that was in this one. An apple aroma mixed with some peach and pear are big and bold. Mixed with these are hints of caramel as well as a light bready smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and fruity sweet flavor. The fruit flavor is initially of a peach and apricot flavor, but transitions to a more apple flavor as the taste advances further. Upfront there is also a caramel sweetness that soon gets overwhelmed by the apple. Toward the end the flavor has a malty and cider like taste. A light bitter citrus and herbal flavor come to the taste at the very end with it slightly leveling out some of the sweetness.
Mouthfeel - The body of the beer is on the slightly thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the average side. While the carbonation level is average, it consists of tiny little bubbles that seem to tingle the tongue. This when combined with the slightly creamier body, is wonderful for the fruit flavors of the brew.
Overall – This beer has a fabulous nose and feel. The taste is not quite up to the former two but is still rather good. One to try if you have the chance.
