Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

0,355L bottle. Pours dark brown with light brown head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, malt, vanilla, cocoa. Flavor follows the nose. Finish is dry bitter. The cocoa feels slightly artificial, but the beer itself is really well balanced. Overall: good.

Bottle at home. High fluffy long lasting light brown head. Very dark brown body. Sweet choccolate vanilla aroma. A bit thinbodied choccolate coffee vanila flavor with notes of nuts. Little hops bitterness. Low carbonation, long sweet finish.

Nische (2196) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2015
Bottle from Systembolaget. Jet black beer and dark beige head. Sweet aroma of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Sweetish flavor with chocolate, vanilla, light coffee and a hint of cherry. Really on the sweet side but the chocolate and roasted flavors balances perfectly. Easy to drink and maybe some lack of depth, but the chocolatey yumminess easily weighs that up.

Nieprzejrzyście czarne z szybko znikającą pianą. Aromat to niezwykle intensywna słodka czekolada - budyń czekoladowy, belgijskie pralinki. W tle lekki nugat. Genialne. W smaku piwo nie jest przesłodzone, dominuje kawa z cukrem i ponownie słodka czekolada. Finisz to lekko zarysowana kawowa goryczka.

danlo (3020) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2015
550ml bottle from Blacker Hall farmshop, Wakefield. Pours black in colour with a reddish-brown tinge, a beige foam head and fruity chocolatey aroma with cocoa, vanilla. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, vanilla, fruity, with cocoa, roasted malt and earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

BenOver (314) - SLOVENIA - SEP 4, 2015
Pours dark with massive head. Strong, veey sweet chocholate aroma. Some fruity notes can also be sensed. Taste is very sweet, with a strong, almost Kahlua like taste. Veey sweet and easy. What a stout. Excellent!

Aroma is mostly chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate on a balanced stout backbone. It is a sweet drink, more a dessert drink than a beer, but nice if you like sweet flavours.
