Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Brun stout med cremefarvet skum. Dejlig duft af chokolade og noter af kaffe. Smagen er jeg ikke vild med.

This American stout’s flavors will make you feel like you’re at a campfire. The rich chocolate flavor, the taste of whipped cream, caramel, and marshmallow makes this beer not overly boozy tasting, but a balanced American stout. It is not a beer easy to find, but if you are into chocolate, it is a great choice.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2017 Color negro con capa de espuma marrón de tres dedos de grosor (muy cremosa y de buena retención, apetece coger una cuchara y degustarla por si sola). Carbonatación media tirando a mínima.

A strong aroma of chocolate, malt, some liqueur and cacao. The small brown fizzy head disappears fast, the body is black. A very strong taste of chocolate and cacao, nearly no taste of beer. The body is medium strong, very creamy with a soft carbonation. The rascal likes the beer very much!

550 ml bottle. Pour was dark brown, with a tan foamy head. Aroma was chocolate, cocoa. Taste was sweet, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, creamy mouthfeel.

Who knew something this good was just sitting around in the ’boring’ rack of beers with dust all over it? An organic chocolate beer that tastes like the fruit rather than the candy bar, and oh my is it terrific. Extremely clean. I could have had a lot of these, at the end of the day this probably tasted better than half the beers full of preservatives and extras. Very direct taste of chocolate fruit, like the infused the plant in a bottle. Impressive brewery. Very worth the try.

One of my favorite beers of all time. Dark, smooth, and exquisitely tasty, this brew tops my list of desert island drinks.

Dark pour and a ton of white foam that rides the beer all the way down. Barley, wheat, chocolate, coffee. Freshly roasted, tannin, wheat. Medium-thin body with sticky bite but more from the coffee than hop. Finishes barley, roast and cocoa.
