Fläschla: Very deep amber coloured, smaller creamy and stable tanned head; distinctive sweet nose of toasted malt and - mainly - ("artificial") milk-chocolate and sweetened cacao-powder; moderate to solid sweet flavour with a delicate bitterness, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; slightly lingering sweet-bitter chocolatey finish. Heavily perfumed with artificial aromas, not my cup of tea. Meh...

(bottle, 35.5cl) Dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet chocolate-laden aroma with a tinge of vanilla. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft malt character with loads of milk chocolate, vanilla and a nutty edge; moderately sweet and restrained bitter finish with lasting chocolate and slightly nutty flavours. A grand desert. 07.IV.17

This American stout’s flavors will make you feel like you’re at a campfire. The rich chocolate flavor, the taste of whipped cream, caramel, and marshmallow makes this beer not overly boozy tasting, but a balanced American stout. It is not a beer easy to find, but if you are into chocolate, it is a great choice.

Carbonatación media tirando a mínima.
