Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Opaque dark brown with thin offwhite head. Sweet roasted malts, hazlenut, cocoa and custard. Burnt coffee with a lot of sweetener, vanilla icecream and milk skin. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Very dark brown with beige head. Sweet cocoa, hazelnuts, sugar, Nutella, ice coffee, light creamy, old wood, caramel. Quite sweet and light metallic bitter. Under medium bodied with slick feel.

Black with a dense brown head. Caramel, vanilla and milk chocolate are the main aromas. Soft and sweet with a gentle lactose finish. Plenty of chocolate here. Perhaps more of a bitter dark chocolate would give it more depth. Overall a very nice light bodied milk stout.

Nice sweet chocolate aroma, good chocolate flavor, slightly nutty, sweet but not too sweet. Little on thin side. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - wow... sensational - perfectly balanced - sweet and creamy but not too much so - huge choc malt for the abv - great roast complexity - so easy to smash so satisfying - must get more...

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2017 Wow now this is a beer, dark colour chocolate stout done to perfection. Fairly sweet but not over the top, this is one the best beers going from possibly the UKs best brewery.

Bardzo dobry stout. Ciemna barwa, ładna piana. Czuć czekoladę już w zapachu, w smaku również. Słodki, ale nie czuć tego za bardzo w posmaku. Mało alkoholu, toteż trudno, żeby było go czuć. Mi smakuje, ale czuć, że nie jest to piwo z najwyższej półki.

The BEST chocolate stout I have had. Most chocolate stouts taste like stout with a "hint" or chocolate...THIS is more like chocolate, with a "hint" of stout. New to Trader Joe’s...found one...IMMEDIATELY fell in love, and got 4 more. HIGHLY recommended for anyone who likes chocolate stouts.

When it comes to Chocolate stouts, many make bold claims, but few deliver. Most Chocolate stouts taste like stout with a minimal taste of bitter chocolate in the finish. Well forgot those ones this is chocolate with a hint of beer. When opening a huge waft of sweet milk chocolate can be smelt from feet away. And the taste does not disappoint, it is what it says it is, Chocolate beer, like no other. Coupled with the organic factor this is a masterpiece of brewing knowledge. My only complaint is that 1 perhaps 2 is enough, after that you feel you have gorged on too much chocolate.
