Pours a dark brown. Aroma is sweet with hints of Carmel. Chocolate. Coffee. Taste is has a deep chocolate flavour that is quite nice. I'm getting some vanillia notes to as well as Carmel. Quite an enjoyable stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where do I start? This was delicious. Poured dark. Smell was a lovely hot chocolate. The taste was almost as delicious and chocolatey.

Bottle. Chocolate but mostly tootsie roll aroma, tastes artificially sweet and almost exactly how it smells. Its actually surprising that’s it organic. It tastes totally artificial which detracts from the experience. Good but a little disappointing.

Pours a dark amber into black with a thin tan head. Gives off a chocolate/coffee mix smell after the beer has settled in the glass. First taste is of a mild coffee that finishes into a nice chocolate taste. It’s quite rich and it ends up being too much to down yourself. I recommend splitting into a couple of snifters and sharing it. Overall this is one for those non beer drinking coffee loving women.

Drank from a bottle at a bar. Very chocolaty, a bit too much actually. I recommend you share the bottle with someone.

Bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a dark clear brown with a big silky off white head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Tastes of sweet dense bread covered with a thick chocolate spread. A bit sweet but not terribly cloying.

Bottle at Sås & Krås. Heavy cacao aroma with vanilla, coffee and caramel. Sweet but not overpowering.

I love stouts, but not ones heavy on the chocolate flavor. This is a very chocolatey beer, I don’t know what Samuel Smith’s did, but this was a delicious beer. Pours black, with a thick chocolate brwon head.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee Muscatine. Black appearance with a light brown head. Rich milk chocolate and cocoa aroma. Similar flavor, plenty of chocolate, but not overly sweet. Medium body, creamy and smooth. A bit one dimensional, but easy to drink, good for dessert.

Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is loads of chocolate and dark malts. Taste is sweet chocolate, dry bitter finish with a small roasted aftertaste.
