A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Had a pleasant malty presance in both the flavor and aroma. Finished smooth and hoppy with almost a fruity taste to it.

Crisp but slightly bland, not really a great lager fan and I think this is generally a little overpriced for what it is. Not bad.

not bad, not great, kinda in the middle. one of the poorer efforts by sam smith. pours and looks like budweiser, has little aroma, and an alright flavor. not my fav.

Gold in colour. Aroma is crisp, grassy. Not much in the flavour, light hops, lots of carbonation. Finishes rather bland. The first boring beer that I have had from Samual Smith.

Good head, not overly bubbly. Ambery colour. Aroma is thoroughly mediocre, kind stinky. Not strong, so it's OK. Not much taste, but there is a sour aftertaste. Nice and bubbly, kind of dry.

Dark yellow colour. Actually kind of flat looking. Reminded me of very good synthetic motor oil, and I think that put me off the whole experience. Aroma is certainl;y hoppy with piney. resiny hop. No malt. Also getting grassy, maybe lemony. Pretty one-sided though. Taste is a little bitter, a little dry. Sourish aftertaste which doesn't linger. Really, not the beer for me.

Thin white head and lace. some sweetness evident in the aroma. Bitter tasting, and nice malty flavour. dry finish.

Our bottle was clear, the one here is brown? A very well made lager, a very nice malty flavor with some subtle hoppiness towards the finish. As it warmed, an unsettling bitterness came out and tainted the beer.

Bottle. Transparent yellow, effervescent for a lager and with a henerous head. Smooth and not very skunky despite the trip across the pond. Crisp, clean, and drinkable.

Color is typical yellow transparant lager color with a decent white head. Taste is smooth with a good bitterness. Overall a nice lager.
