Sparkling gold w/ good sized white head. Soft, fruity, sweet malt aroma. Thin, syrupy body. Watery sweet malt flavour w/ light hop finish. daboskabouter (1469) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2003
Sparkling light golden color. The nose is fruity with some grass and a little bit of sweet malt. The body is candyish with some light grassy hops kicking in at the end. Boring and, I think, forgettable. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 29, 2003
pours golden, big bubbly head. clean malt and slight hop aroma. grassy flavour with a bit of citrus. mild hop burst in the finish. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 22, 2003
Nice, clear olden colour with an orangish hue and a big, fluffy white head. Very fresh and pleasing aroma with grassy, fruity and soft hop notes. Sweet malt in the beginning kicks off the flavour well, but it's begging for some more hops in the finish to really wrap it up nicely. Still a very decent and refreshing lager, though. You must love this soft hoppy aroma , large white head , lightly sparkling brew . Interestingly made: at front malty then slightly bitter and with touch of organic vegetables. Creamy mouthfeel , maybe a bit to heavy for lager to be very refreshing .

(Bottle) Lightly carbonated; gold with thin, white head. Yeasty and citrusy nose. Surprisingly complex; somewhat yeasty. Nice bitter finish. Hansen (8621) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2003
Fine yellow. Great head. Has a pleasent aroma of grass/barley-field. Goes in the flavor too. One of the better S. Smith's. Cartoonkhaki (1341) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2003
Huge head is what I noticed right away. Dark rich gold colour. Bitter on the palate. Decent. Decent lager. Slightly hoppy... decent none-the-less DragonStout (1418) - Groveport, Ohio, USA - JUN 11, 2003
Poured nice with a slight head. Was golden in color with some flowery aroma.Has clean crisp taste, but slightly watery.the finish was slightly bitter, but this still wasn't a bad lager from Sammy dberger624 (1028) - Voorhees, New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2003
Nothing fancy here. Has a nice faint bitter taste. Easy drinking beer.......
