A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

(Bottle) Lightly carbonated; gold with thin, white head. Yeasty and citrusy nose. Surprisingly complex; somewhat yeasty. Nice bitter finish.

Fine yellow. Great head. Has a pleasent aroma of grass/barley-field. Goes in the flavor too. One of the better S. Smith's.

Huge head is what I noticed right away. Dark rich gold colour. Bitter on the palate. Decent. Decent lager. Slightly hoppy... decent none-the-less

Poured nice with a slight head. Was golden in color with some flowery aroma.Has clean crisp taste, but slightly watery.the finish was slightly bitter, but this still wasn't a bad lager from Sammy

thick lacy head that faded in a minute or two. light color. A pretty good mixture of sweetness and hoppy bitterness. very smooth and easy to drink. I find the Samuel Smith organic brews a little watery, but nice

Yellow with small head and some lacing, thin-bodied. Floral aroma with a hint of butterscotch. The taste is somewhat sweet with a good balance of hops to clean the palate, fizzy yet creamy too. Still there is a "dirty" feel to this beer which marked it down in my book, too bad for that, otherwise a very good lager.

Clear yellow with healthy white foam. Aroma is invitingly grassy. Taste is mild grassy, some sweetness. Bitterness remains after the swallow. A nice beer, but nothing special.

sweet hoppy aroma, standard lager appearance, very well balanced, deep malt flavours to begin with followed by a sharp hoppy aftertaste, typical SS feel of quality, best lager ever tasted, marvelous

Smooth and creamy. Malts were full of a nice sweet caramel, great hop balance. Short to medium dry finish.
