Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 14, 2003
Blond to golden color; big head. Strange aroma: white sugar, hay, paper. Some malt taste, quite round, light honey. Short finish, yet correctly bitter. There was no need to propose this Organic brew…

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, hops and notes of flowers. Good lager.

Bottled at The Champion, London Xmas Pub Crawl. Gold with thin white head. Some acids, some lemon,a bit bland really. Saving grace si the finish which is really quite pleasant, even has some juicy malt/fruit. Best of the 3 Sam Smiths lagers that we had

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Bottle. Pale golden color, quite ok white head. Malty, bready, papery aroma. Bready flavor, a bit one dimensional. Dry finish.

Oakes (18756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 22, 2002
Light amber; grassy, mossy aroma; slightly tinny, cracker-like maltiness; ~24 IBUs hiding underneath earthy overtones. Today's B.S. quote of the week "tightly fused flavours".

TBone (18211) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2008
(Bottled 355 ml). Clear golden color, decent white head. Lemony, dish cleanser aroma. A bit fizzy. Sligfhtly grainy malty backbone. Light citrusy hops. Oily. Above an average bulk lager.

yngwie (17233) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 24, 2008
Bottle. A clear, pale golden beer with a white head. Light citrusy nose, sweetish malty notes, and quite fruity. Fruity, slightly grainy flavor with some bitterness. Medium body, and a short, fruity finish. A quite pleasant one, especially considering it being a pale lager, but that’s it. (080305)

Draft - Light crisp biscuit. Pale gold with a rich white head. Light, but pretty sweet biscuit. Nothing special.

Dedollewaitor (16381) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 25, 2007
55cl bottle: Clear see through yellow with a good egg white head. Aroma & taste is clean & crisp of malts & hops. Very delicious. Smooth mouthfeel. Very mild & pleasant. If this was the standard quality for lagers I would probably hang out with my mates all the time!
