Also known as Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale
A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smiths Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. This beer is blended with pure organic raspberry fruit juice and a previously cellared brew creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

My favorite Samuel Smith fruit beer so far. Well balanced. Quite sweet with a lot of raspberry and some darker fruits. Malty, bread crust and hops for balance.

Clear raspberry colour with sweet aroma. Perfectly balanced palate, not too sweet, not too dry. Nice real fruit flavour. Very easy to drink. 5.1% Vol. Cant really fault it. :-)

355 ml bottle from Ammersin Centerstore.
Copper, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, moderately lacing, slightly pink head.
Aroma of raspberries, cherries, sugar, sweet malts, some sweet bread, subtle barnyard.
Tastes of sweet and sour raspberries, cherries, sugar, bread, sweet malts.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes moderate, sweet, a bit sour, fruity.

Good. Sweet but not too sweet, well balanced, also with some sour notes. Not very complex, but with nice, distinctive raspberry notes. Overall a good fruit beer, alhtough Ive had much better ones.

Samuel Smiths Organic Raspberry Ale has a medium, fizzy-ish, pink head, a clear, ruby red appearance, and low-level lacing left behind. The aroma is of strong raspberry juice with bread. Taste is a one-two punch of acidic & sweet raspberry juice and bready malt. Bitterness is low. Mouthfeel is medium, and Samuel Smiths Organic Raspberry Ale finishes dry and highly drinkable. RJT
