Also known as Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale
A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smith’s Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. This beer is blended with pure organic raspberry fruit juice and a previously cellared brew creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle- Deep hazed ruby with an off pink head of fizz. Immediate blast of raspberry leads to spices and floral notes in the nose. Taste of sweet raspberry jam, spices, some bittering hops and grassy notes. Wow, this is sweet. Sticky finish. Overly sweet for a session but might do well as an after dinner treat.

Bottle shared by bu11zeye. Pours a nice ruby red with a pinkish white head. Aroma is heavy on the raspberries, with hints of pie spices. Taste is sweet raspberries and jam. Very clean, and one to pour after dinner.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a reddish-purple color with an off-white head. The aroma is strong raspberry with not much else. The flavor is identical to the aroma. Other than a lot of raspberry, I don’t get anything else. The beer is very sweet and tastes more like raspberry juice than any kind of a beer. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown beer. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries. The flavor is sweet with notes raspberries, as well as light notes of lemon and malt, leading to a lightly tart raspberry finish.

An English brewery I always like to see at the LCBO. After having a few weak fruit beers from "Les Frères Houblons", I was expecting something good from this one. Pours a dark red colour with a rich red-pink creamy head that has good retention and beautiful lace. A full raspberry nose is felt, with the great fruit juice. Lightly bodied which makes this one quite refreshing. Does not seem weird (different) like most organic brews I have tastes. Some nice sweetness with the juice and a little sourness in the finish. A very well-balanced organic raspberry fruit beer.
