Small slightly bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly artificial sweet fruity, raspberry candy, raspberry syrup, sugar, soda powder. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, raspberry candy, soda powder, raspberry syrup, grass, minerals, weeds. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.
Bottle. Clear dark red color, pink head. Aroma of tart raspberry. Taste starts with sweet and syrupy berries, then light tartness at the finish. OK. badhack (564) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 17, 2015
My favorite Samuel Smith fruit beer so far. Well balanced. Quite sweet with a lot of raspberry and some darker fruits. Malty, bread crust and hops for balance. BazScott (69) - - DEC 11, 2015
Clear raspberry colour with sweet aroma. Perfectly balanced palate, not too sweet, not too dry. Nice real fruit flavour. Very easy to drink. 5.1% Vol. Can’t really fault it. :-) Milter (990) - Nyborg, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2015
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2017 Overraskende go frugt-øl. Behageli frugtsmag, men lidt for sød, trods alt. Serveret meget kold.

Pink pour with a lightly pink head. Light raspberry jam aroma. Rather sweet with very subtle tartness. Big raspberry flavor at the start with a lightly tart finish and a fruity, jammy finish. Saeglopur (2292) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - NOV 8, 2015

Copper, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, moderately lacing, slightly pink head.
Aroma of raspberries, cherries, sugar, sweet malts, some sweet bread, subtle barnyard.
Tastes of sweet and sour raspberries, cherries, sugar, bread, sweet malts.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes moderate, sweet, a bit sour, fruity.
Good. Sweet but not too sweet, well balanced, also with some sour notes. Not very complex, but with nice, distinctive raspberry notes. Overall a good fruit beer, alhtough I’ve had much better ones.
Dark ruby color; Medium body; Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, nice raspberries, & floral; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, fruit (notably raspberries), and some spice; Finish is dry and slightly tart; Nicely balanced; Pretty decent. ronaldtheriot (1977) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 25, 2015
Samuel Smith’s Organic Raspberry Ale has a medium, fizzy-ish, pink head, a clear, ruby red appearance, and low-level lacing left behind. The aroma is of strong raspberry juice with bread. Taste is a one-two punch of acidic & sweet raspberry juice and bready malt. Bitterness is low. Mouthfeel is medium, and Samuel Smith’s Organic Raspberry Ale finishes dry and highly drinkable. a quality brew company knows how to produce beer. and the raspberry from samuel smith is fruity, beery enough and genuine in both respects. bit of sharp tang balanced with sugar the beer has smooth and syrupy components. sampled at monmouth racetrack nj beer fest.
