The small and historical All Saints Brewery is located in Stamford, Lincolnshire - a region famous for excellent fruit. The Samuel Smith’s Organic Fruit Beers are brewed and fermented there, then transferred to Samuel Smith’s Brewery, in Tadcaster, for conditioning, aging, and packaging. The complex multiple yeast strains used to ferment these beers lead to a beautiful marriage with pure, rich Certified Organic fruit. Tasting notes: Strawberries offer a soft and subtle flavour, making the character of this fruit beer extremely sophisticated and refined. The smooth malt and aromatic strawberry flavours merge together in an elegant fashion, with the fresh flavours of ripe strawberries shining through.

11.03.2016, 0,35l bottle @ home:
Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly artificial sweet sour-ish fruity, soda powder, strawberry candy pop, strawberry jam, hay, grain. Taste is slightly sour-ish fruity, strawberry candy pop, soda powder, hay, strawberry jam, grass, minerals. Little bitterness, slightly mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle. Clear golden amber color, white coca cola head. Aroma of very fruity bubblegum and strawberry shampoo. Taste is fruity, sweet at first, very lightly tart finish. OK.

PorterPounder (7965) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 19, 2016
Tallahassee, Fl - Whole Foods Market - 500 ml bottle. Hazy amber-orange pour with a beady snow white head, Aroma has a pleasant strawberry pastry filling essence to it. Sweet flavor, some strawberry jam, more sweet than sour, but nice slight pucker quality to it.Pretty natural tasting. Mouthfeel has a nice textured feel to it. Always thought I had rated this, decided to look it up when I was looking for a tick while perusing the selection at Whole Foods.

Though I am not rating this beer highly, I’m surprised to find it rated so low here on RateBeer. My low rating comes more because of my own personal preferences. I can drink it though it is not a beer I would normally choose. As with most alcohol drinks with a strawberry, there is a hint of a medicinal flavor...it is not the most prominent flavor though and the strawberry does come through nicely. Nicely colored, just a tad hazy in the glass. Pleasing aroma.

skazhy (8) - LATVIA - JAN 29, 2016 does not count
Received a free tasting sample from a bottle at Falling Rock, Denver. Aroma is like strawberry ice cream & tastes like strawberry bubblegum, heavily carbonated. Too sweet for me & I don’t think I’ll buy this one.

badhack (554) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Lots of carbonation, head that sticks around. Aroma of strawberry. Tastes of malt and bread crust and strawberries. Tastes a little too much of syrup. A bit sweet. Medium palette.

eduardovl (1449) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 13, 2015
330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a slightly cloudy amber color forming a medium and creamy off head with good retention that leaves tons of soapy and molasses lingering lacings in the glass as its drink. Nose is very sweet and fruity. Milky. Strong notes of strawberry candy. Strawberry yogurt. Taste follows the nose. A quite sweet upfront follows by some pale malts and flowery hops. Notes of strawberry candy and yogurt. Light metallic hints. Light hops bitterness it’s definitely made to be a dessert. Light body. Slightly molasses. Medium carbonation. Strawberry aftertaste. Good drinkability which is obviously compromised by its sweetness. Not that bad but...

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 10, 2015
355ml bottle. Clear deep amber color. Small size, white head, stays. Strong and sweet strawberry bubblegum aroma. Something tells me it’s not natural at all. Sweet and sour strawberry bubblegum. They promise strawberries and beer delivers.... strawberries. It’s like a mix of strawberry compote syrup and (any) beer. Bizarre brew.

zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - SEP 27, 2015
(bottle - 500 ml) Pink pour with a puffy pink head. Strawberry jam aroma with some dry malt and alcohol. Flavor is sweet strawberry candy with a lightly dry finish. Sticky sweet and lingering. [9/8/15]
