Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

Bottle poured into a pint glass, pours a clear gold with a nice white head, nice lacing. Sweet and malty, mild hops in the finish. A decent lager would recommend to friends!

.5 /l bottle. Clear golden body with a decent white head. A mild and mildly bitter brew but with plenty of flavor for style. Hop dominated with a floral-herbal Euro hop profile.

Light golden, fluffy head. Aroma - grainy, bready, a bit of wort on the background. Medium bitterness, more bread in the taste. Nice, well balanced.

550 ml. bottle. Pours a clear dull gold with a nice white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, grain, straw, and a touch of citrus. Would work well on a hot day.

From Sept 2005 Poured nice with a decent head and very nice gold color. A bit weak in malt and hops but pretty well balanced. This is my first organic and I'm not sure how that helps the beer overall but this one is pretty darned drinkable so I'll buy it again and for the US$3.07 price tag, it's a pretty good bargain. Update: I'm enjoying another bottle of this very nice lager. It poured(room temp) a light gold with a large head of foam that dissipated slowly. The smell is sweet with some fruitness. The taste is fairly hoppy at the start and then the malt moves in and creates a balance that makes this lager a pleasure to drink. Darn good stuff!!

Nice carbonation the taste has the sam smiths old brew metallic tinge and copper colour. Apart from that its a decent dry lager.

Scopey (16550) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2017
Keg at Glasshouse Stores, Soho. It pours clear yellow with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is rather, soft, sweet, white bread, white sugar, toasty grain and rich tea biscuit. The taste is crisp, clean, fluffy, soft, mellow sweetness, doughy, white bread, honey suckle and straw with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and pretty drinkable. Decent enough lagerbier.

Single bottle from Molly’s Spirits. Clear golden appearance with a white head. Aroma and flavor of toasted malt, mild hops and a light earthy grassiness. Clean, smooth and easy to drink overall.
