Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

Draught at The Duke of Argyll, London. Clear golden with a medium white soapy head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite bitter. Malts, hay and some citrus. Mediocre lager.

Bottle 55cl. @local organic grocery shop. Poured into an english pint glass. Clear golden, good two fingers fluffy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing; aroma malts, grain, grass; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, hoppy, grassy, with long duration, dry hoppy finish; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation; a clean and refreshing lager, quite quaffable.

*Old rating. Nice, slightly grainy and not too bitter Lager. Hints of sweetness, easy to drink, round and fresh!

Pours a clear yellow with a full head. Subtle balance of malt and hops but essentially does what it says on the box delivering a clean, easy drinking lager.

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a golden color with a decent white head and lacing. The aroma is corn malt, fruit, and hay. The taste is corn, bread, slight hop bitterness, hay, and grain. This had a very crisp and clean quality to it with nice carbonation. For the style, it’s excellent.

On tap at Top1 Forever restaurant, Royal Victoria Dock, London. Pale golden color, low white head. Aroma and flavour are more malty than hoppy, this is more of a Bavarian Helles than a Pilsener. Moderate diacetyl comes through as the beer warms up a little.

Bottle. Betty’s, York. Clear yellow. Ring of white. Grassy hop. Sweet malt. Taste is sweet, and light, grassy hop bitter. Crisp palate. A bit thin. Finishes more of the same. Vomit burps. Not great.

Attractive golden lager. Clean crisp flavour with hoppy notes. Lengthy bitter finish which slightly lessened my enjoyment of the beer.

500ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn) (5+:4:5:3:11=2.8+)
Soft vanilla, some orange, and light grains. Beautiful tight persistent head over a bold golden body. Simple light grainy taste, less interesting than aroma. Fullish palate. Want some hops in the finish, there’s almost none. Very nice lager, but still lacking a few details.
