This lager has a very pale color and a quickly dissapating head... The flavor is slightly sweet. DBob5150 (236) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUL 29, 2011
Light & refreshing, pours a semi-cloudy yellow with a thin head. Not much going on as far as aroma, very faint grassy scent. Taste is also light and crisp with no aftertaste. Goes down easy. Good. detroitsteel (235) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2008
Couldn’t tell you what it smells or looks like as it always seems to be in a bottle, served with out a glass. Crisper and cleaner tasting than the Alpine Larger, its ok, I suppose. Wouldn’t go crazy on it. mstockton (225) - Frankfurt, GERMANY - AUG 30, 2004
If it were not so damn expensive, this would be my every day beer. A nice strong taste, but not overpowering. It does not have a skunky smell either. Good quality stuff. Allseeingeye (223) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2002
Golden color. Fruity, flowery, Grainy, grassy smell. Decent head. Hoppy flavors and finish. Not my fav from S.S.

Attractive golden lager. Clean crisp flavour with hoppy notes. Lengthy bitter finish which slightly lessened my enjoyment of the beer. bembelembe (219) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 3, 2008
Very good lager, very enjoyable, refreshing bittery hop feel with herbal-floral notes. Hoppy aftertaste. Golden color, medium-low carbonation. NDmullet (208) - South Bend, Indiana, USA - JAN 4, 2003
Absolutely clear and golden, light carbonation, fully diminishing head. Fresh aroma of buttered bread (dinner rolls) and honey. Lots of soft, pale malt, and lightly bitter, this is a very tasty lager. My only complaint that the texture is a bit watery. Also, one of the most attractive bottle/labels I've seen lately, with a really cool gold and green foil hops motif around the neck. bbbrew (204) - Hawaii, USA - AUG 22, 2007
bottle. clear light golden pour. malty nose. light taste. head didn’t last. Duffbeer (192) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2003
Pretty good lager. Nice malt flavor, good color. Not the best of Samuel Smith's brews, but still very good.
