Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lagers flavour, purity and condition.

Pretty good lager. Nice malt flavor, good color. Not the best of Samuel Smith's brews, but still very good.

12 ounce bottle- poured an anemic yellow with a stark white, short lived head. Aroma was almost nonexistant. What little taste there was somewhat sweet with just a hint of malt. Boring, average beer at a premium beer price. Skip it.

Best Beer ever, repeat, best beer ever!!!!! I love this stuff, and even mentioned it in my profile. Can I afford a 4-pack a night, no way! But i love it, clean, clear, no bitterness, and a mild taste of hops and grain. They serve this in heaven people so if youre not sure where you are going, try this now befoe it may be too late!

pours out pale gold in color producing a bubbly white finger thick head that was fast to move its way down, but not to fast. the body was super clear pale gold in color just like the way it poured. the aromas are faint. i dont really smell that much but i do get slight pine, light yeast, and really not much else. it is medium bodied but finishes kind of watery but not dry. i dont really get much flavor other then flavored water(lol). this has to be a light beer, and kind of disapointing. its kind of citrusy, no bitterness, a little sweet, and has an oily feeling on my tongue. no that good of a beer, but would give to a girl on a hot day instead of a miller lite.

Bottle. Poured a light amber with a small, foamy head that hangs around for a bit. Had a yeasty, malty, aroma with some spice.Clean finish with no bad aftertaste.

The perfect amount of carbonation for me (much more than the oatmeal stout), very hoppy flavor, thick in content and bitter yet not overpowering aftertaste. Elegant pouring beer from an awesome bottle. I am Sammy Smiths new #1 fan and I look forward to trying his other varieties in the very near future.

Good carbonation; nice tall head; very smooth, mild flavor with just a little bitterness in the finish.

I loved the mown-grass aroma and it is refreshing compared to most of the lagers Ive had of late; very fresh, not too "heavy" but definitely present. Its a very likable, full-flavored lager that puts 90% of American versions to shame.
