COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

This lager has a very pale color and a quickly dissapating head... The flavor is slightly sweet.

Light & refreshing, pours a semi-cloudy yellow with a thin head. Not much going on as far as aroma, very faint grassy scent. Taste is also light and crisp with no aftertaste. Goes down easy. Good.

Couldn’t tell you what it smells or looks like as it always seems to be in a bottle, served with out a glass. Crisper and cleaner tasting than the Alpine Larger, its ok, I suppose. Wouldn’t go crazy on it.

If it were not so damn expensive, this would be my every day beer. A nice strong taste, but not overpowering. It does not have a skunky smell either. Good quality stuff.

Golden color. Fruity, flowery, Grainy, grassy smell. Decent head. Hoppy flavors and finish. Not my fav from S.S.

Attractive golden lager. Clean crisp flavour with hoppy notes. Lengthy bitter finish which slightly lessened my enjoyment of the beer.

Very good lager, very enjoyable, refreshing bittery hop feel with herbal-floral notes. Hoppy aftertaste. Golden color, medium-low carbonation.

Absolutely clear and golden, light carbonation, fully diminishing head. Fresh aroma of buttered bread (dinner rolls) and honey. Lots of soft, pale malt, and lightly bitter, this is a very tasty lager. My only complaint that the texture is a bit watery. Also, one of the most attractive bottle/labels I've seen lately, with a really cool gold and green foil hops motif around the neck.

Pretty good lager. Nice malt flavor, good color. Not the best of Samuel Smith's brews, but still very good.
