COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lagers flavour, purity and condition.

Absolutely clear and golden, light carbonation, fully diminishing head. Fresh aroma of buttered bread (dinner rolls) and honey. Lots of soft, pale malt, and lightly bitter, this is a very tasty lager. My only complaint that the texture is a bit watery. Also, one of the most attractive bottle/labels Ive seen lately, with a really cool gold and green foil hops motif around the neck.

Attractive golden lager. Clean crisp flavour with hoppy notes. Lengthy bitter finish which slightly lessened my enjoyment of the beer.

Pretty good lager. Nice malt flavor, good color. Not the best of Samuel Smith's brews, but still very good.

12 ounce bottle- poured an anemic yellow with a stark white, short lived head. Aroma was almost nonexistant. What little taste there was somewhat sweet with just a hint of malt. Boring, average beer at a premium beer price. Skip it.

From memory; pint on tap at Sam Smiths Bispham Hotel, Blackpool. Pours pale yellow. Aroma of wheat, biscuit, pinch of caramel. Taste is muted, but as a lover of ales (and not lagers) i found this quite a full bodied tastey,if very neutral tasting pint. Its neither hop nor malt forward but has a natural hay like freshness which ive seldom found in other lagers. Maybe ive been suckered in by the organic label or the fact that it costs more than the other lagers on sale there, butI stomached a pint which is more than most lagers.

Best Beer ever, repeat, best beer ever!!!!! I love this stuff, and even mentioned it in my profile. Can I afford a 4-pack a night, no way! But i love it, clean, clear, no bitterness, and a mild taste of hops and grain. They serve this in heaven people so if youre not sure where you are going, try this now befoe it may be too late!

pours out pale gold in color producing a bubbly white finger thick head that was fast to move its way down, but not to fast. the body was super clear pale gold in color just like the way it poured. the aromas are faint. i dont really smell that much but i do get slight pine, light yeast, and really not much else. it is medium bodied but finishes kind of watery but not dry. i dont really get much flavor other then flavored water(lol). this has to be a light beer, and kind of disapointing. its kind of citrusy, no bitterness, a little sweet, and has an oily feeling on my tongue. no that good of a beer, but would give to a girl on a hot day instead of a miller lite.

Bottle. Poured a light amber with a small, foamy head that hangs around for a bit. Had a yeasty, malty, aroma with some spice.Clean finish with no bad aftertaste.
