Keg at Ye Olde Swiss Cottage. It pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. The aroma is soft, bready, cereal, cracker, rivita and a touch of sweetness. The taste is pretty weak actually... sort of has this generic malty vibe, bread, cereal, muted toffee, apple skin and some grass maybe. Finish is sweetish, yet dry. Light body and fine, foamy carbonation. Utterly forgettable stuff.

Clear caramel golden color with a fine creamy white head. Good lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium (-) body and a soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Caramel malty, mild fruity and mild bready flavor. Decent and easy to drink. I am not a big fan of these bitter ale on handpull. This one proved me wrong.

Cask on a pub somewhere in Soho, London. A brewery the I usually have been impressed by but this is a dull watery bitter. The body lacks structure and maltyness. Flowery and earthy hops medium bitterness. Ok.

Keg at Sinclairs Oyster Bar, Manchester. A clear pale amber colour with a creamy white head. Aroma of grain, some caramel and apple. Taste of biscuit, grain, apple and some earthy bitterness. Light bodied and a smooth texture. A soft grainy bitterness in the finish. A solid draught bitter but the Old Brewery Bitter is slightly better

Cask at princess Louise, holborn. Took 10+ minutes to pour. Very unsettled with a really sturdy creamy head that you have to chew through. Aroma is wet newspaper, weak hops and barley. cloying texture with a medium dry finish. Hops and wet paper. Poor.

Cask at the princess Louise in holburn. Golden clear coloured pour with a cascading creamy head. Aroma is nutty base malts, some raisin. Flavour is composed of nutty malts with a little caramel, raisin and dried fruits, tangy fruit in the finish. Palate is creamy with moderate carbonation, very easy going. Thick lace on the glass. I enjoyed this, classic bitter.
