En god porter, litt mildere enn andre. En l kose seg med. Begynte p fem grader, ble bedre da den ble varmere.

Opaque, deep brown color with beige, creamy foam that lasts. Lots of malt and toasted barley in the nose with some chocolate and some fruity notes. Touches of bitterness and maybe a little tart too. The taste is slightly less sweet as the bitter roasted barley comes out. There is a dryness to it as well. Medium body, smooth, little fizz.

12 ounce bottle at home. You can smell the roasted coffee and sugar in this very smooth beer. Medium bodied and some sweetness to this lightly carbonated beer. This is a really nice and drinkable beer.

Bottle. Very dark brown to black in colour. Very malty (espresso coffee, dusty dark chocolate, roast malts). Fruity (dark fruits, raisins). Full-bodied beer with intense dry tangy chocolaty character. Sweetish, ending in a slight hop bitterness. Very drinkable. Lovely Porter. (2011-07-20)

Bottle. Black with a shade of brown. Small head. Aroma of barley and roasted malts. Minimal vinous and fruity. Taste is malts, dark chocolate, cocoa and a hint of coffee. Sweet. Dry. Some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Low carbonation. Oily and slightly sticky mouthfeel. Well done and balanced.

Draught at the Cheshire Cheese, looks like Guinness but tastes like a creamy Schwarzbier - ashy with red fruit, over a rich creamy-dry texture.

12 oz single bottle from Mollys Spirits. Black appearance with a lacy tan head. Aroma of roasted grain, light caramel malt, vanilla, chocolate and light coffee. Similar flavor, rich, dark and malty with a lingering bittersweet finish. Light to medium body with soft carbonation and a smooth, creamy feel. Solid porter overall.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at Taco Mac in Atlanta. The appearance is a dark black with a small tan head. The aroma is roasted malt. Has a great roasted malt flavor.
