Bottle with my father in law. This is an old school, traditional German wheat, with enough bubble gum sweetness from the wheat make and yeast eaters to make you think you were a kid again.

Keg at soho pub. Pours pale amber with a thin white foam residing. Scent is loads of Banana and a bit of cloves. Taste is consistent with plenty of water. Good but simple

Keg at The Chandos, near Lesta Sq. Realised I hadn’t been in a Sam Smith’s pub for around 15 months and thus no ticks on here. Sour yeasty aroma with herb edge. A hazy gold. Thick creamy head. Really quite sweet for the style - reminds me of those penny sweet foamy bananas or Nesquik. A citric sour edge. Light bodied. Watery. Muted carbonation. Long finish. Perhaps not a great example of a hefe but in my virginal beer days when all I’d had was Erdinger it was cool to find this stuff on cheap. And I still love it.

Bottled, 500ml at The Three Goats Heads, Oxford. Gold with white head. Sweet banana notes from the start, some caramel, some flowery notes. A little thin on the palate. Just a little dull.

Not bad, but not great. Banana comes through very strong, with slight smokey notes. Distinctly wheat.

Tap at the Olde Cheshire Cheese. Nose is estery banana, hints of clove and lemon. Relatively light bodied, dry-sweet with more fruit and a hint of pepper. Bit gassy and thin bodied. Slight cloying sweetness in the finish.

Bottled. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is banana, some citrus, mild yeast and spices as well as some slight wooden notes. Flavour is quite much wheat, spices, yeast some banana and mild caramelly notes. Refreshing.

tommann (3897) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2016
550ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with a small head. Aroma is banana and a little bubblegum. Taste has light banana to start and a strong clove finish.

Organic BIO Beer. Piwo ladne jaskrawo pomarańczowe, pachnie bananami i gruszkami. Piana slaba średnio trwala, ale mętne za to choć nie błotniste. W aromacie i smaku jest dobrze, nawet bardzo. Udalo się Brytyjczykom zblizyc do dobrych piw bawarskich w tym stylu. Smaczne i zarazem lekkie. Bardzo przyjemne i swieze. Spora zasluga pewnie ekologicznych skladmikow.
