Pours an amber color with a fluffy off white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smell of caramel, toffee, nuts and molasses. Tastes of all the same things that are in the smell but can also taste the seaweed. Mouthfeel is heavy and watery with ok carbonation and a dry finish. Overall this was a decent winter warmer but nothing spectacular. It was interesting to use seaweed in a beer.

AgentAle (1807) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 10, 2017
Aroma is roasted malts, honey, and a touch of citrus. Taste is light sweet malts, toffee and some light herbs. The light earthiness and traditional tasty mineral notes rounds out the profile.

Nice beer, A hearty English ale. Sweet and malty with notes of biscuit. Slightly bitter long-lasting aftertaste gives it a nice balance. One of my favorite winter ales July 2017. Really enjoying this beer. This time I am noticing Pepper notes in the very long lasting bitter aftertaste. The bitterness is not offputting it is nicely balanced and refreshing. It kind of reminds me of rogue's dead Guy ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

AleRider78 (1411) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 7, 2017
Pours a small amount of foamy head and has a clear, light copper appearance. Aromas of light malts, hops and some spices. Flavours of roasted malts, goldings hops, light spices, a touch of cinnamon and even a little bit of a syrup, like maple but very faint. Fairly bland mouthfeel, not much feeling. Not bad but not much of a winter warming beer. A bit disappointing.

Klares Bernstein mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, süßlich, etwas Karamell, würzig, leicht herb.

Glad to see a lot of christmas spirit beer. This one is a bit spicy, worth trying.

Almogabar (72) - MARIA DE HUERVA (ZARAGOZA), SPAIN - MAR 3, 2017

Bottle. Very malty (roasted & biscuity) fruity winter ale. Smooth, full-bodied. Nice hop balance & dry finish. Liked this. Nice beer. (2008)

Rust in colour with a thick white head. Burnt caramel and sweet bread aroma. The beer is very sweet with a lingering after taste.
