Cask @ Cittie of York, London. Pours dark amber with a creamy white head. Nose and taste is dominant of caramel and underlying berry and raisin fruits. Smooth and easy drinking. Good session ale. Leighton (21463) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2011
Cask at the Cittie of York, London. Pours a clear, effervescent golden-brown with a foamy, off-white head. Weak toasty malt aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with some faint caramel, toast, and very mild, leafy bitterness. Light in body with fine, tingly carbonation. Light sweet finish, some toasty and doughy malts, light fruits making an appearance. A very basic beer overall. Nothing really wrong, but it’s just pretty damn bland. Cask in the City of york, Holborn. Alround rating: Starts thin and a bit fucked really, but then moves onto a far more malty and complex beast, as it warms tabasco and brett start to come through and by the end its reminisant of harveys pale ale. Good show for the %.

Pint in The White Horse, Soho. Pours red/copper. Very clear, minimal head. At first nose and flavour is really subtle, but after a few sips there’s caramel malt and fruitiness coming through. Bit of tropical fruit on the nose. Very very light bodied though. DownsouthGav (601) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2008
