Found a bottle of this luckily. Pours a bright reddish color with a solid white head. Aroma was of vanilla, oak, and ripe fruit. The extensive aging process this beer has undergo made it very mellow. Sweet fruits, smoky oak, vanilla, and slight hoppiness. Mouth feel was a touch thin possibly from the age of the beer. Not bad, but doesn’t stand out. Way over priced.
Brown color with a tan head. Dried fruit, marcipan and malty aroma. Reminds me off a belgian quadruppel without the complex notes. Taste of caramel, some nutts and a sweet fininsh.

Øllen er modnet på egetræsfade i mindst 1 år. Selvom den er på 8 procent er den let drikkelig, den er flaskegæret, hvis den får lov at stå så llænge DavidWoodruff (619) - Windsor, California, USA - JUL 11, 2017
Orangey-brown color with a cream colored head. Dark dried fruit aroma with a little marzipan note. Leans towards sweet. Nutty with a touch of caramel. Complex, warming and perfectly balanced. This is traditional British brewing at its best. scotty (1208) - SCOTLAND - JUL 10, 2017
Yup, definitely been aged in oak! Lots of vanilla, caramel and dried friut on the nose. It’s a smooth mouthful, rich and full flavoured, almost wine like with an excellent lingering finish. A treat, one to savour. Bought at Rheged Heritage Centre in Cumbria. koshack (1812) - Gdañsk, POLAND - JUN 28, 2017

Medium brown pour, quick off white head. Nose is dates, brown sugar, maybe some Madiera. Middle is sweet malt, plums, some caramel, light fruitiness. Finish is fruity and sweet. erikaraeb (224) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 18, 2017
The oak aging here definitely does this one justice. Smells and tastes of oak and caramel. Additional flavours of dried fruits, brown sugar, and toffee. Woodsy notes are definitely not overwhelming. Very clean finish without the syrupy mouth that some of these aged brews risk. Could use a touch more carb. Msdrbeat (780) - East Lansing, USA - JUN 16, 2017
Bottled at dusty's. Lots of Caramel malt character. Not overly boozy. Warming.

Sherry smells with some orange. Deep golden orange with thick tight white head with microscopic bubbles short but persistent head. Beautiful complex tastes of orange, alcohol, sherry. A really nice ale. mabuzzer (845) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - MAY 25, 2017
550ml bottle @ 8%. Nutty brown colour, frothy off white head that fizzed away quickly. Caramel and alcohol aroma, flavour is toffee, dried fruit, most pleasant
