Bottle 500ml from King&Godfree. Very aromatic, a bit thin in the palate. Aromas of caramel and liquorice. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Amber, with no head. justVASGO (4) - ITALY - SEP 4, 2012 does not count
Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel. Color is nice amber, pours with a thick beige head. Clarity has chill haze. The more I drink it the more I’m seeing this is a solid bitter category ale. Taste starts slightly sweet on the tongue, then a balanced maltiness, then the bitter presents itself subtly. Mouth feel is full, palate almost approaching creamy but backing off. Average carbonation.
It’s relieving to see the yeast at the bottom of the bottle! Makes it feel like this is a home brew. Good beer all around, ESPECIALLY for birra italiana. Sissio (1788) - Orsenigo, ITALY - FEB 8, 2015
Clear amber copper, almost non existing cream head. Caramel, riped fruit, some sweet alcohol aroma. Perhaps watery, but still decent amber ale. Sweet malts and distinct radicchio bitterness. cardofab (235) - Teramo- ITALY, ITALY - FEB 20, 2012

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with ElDesmadre. Hazy amber orange color with small creamy off-white head and fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, dandelion syrup, floral hops and vegetables. Taste starts with sweet caramel malt, follows by vegetably and grainy sourness, obviously with chicory feeling, plain mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. The only thing that bothers me is that it mellows quickly after first few sips, otherwise still very quaffable...

This beer is produced with Radicchio di Treviso, one of the most celebrated varieties of salad. It has a red color and a bitter taste. It belongs to the chicory family.
Hazy amber color; big creamy head. Nice malt aroma and very nice hop, with a hint of dark honey. Medium body, with a mild toffee flavor, sweetish, but without a bite. It has a balanced bitterness, difficult to tell if there is any Radicchio, maybe just something in the very late aftertaste. Quite good.
