Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear bright copper with a fizzy beige head and lots of lacing. Tastes like toasted malt, buttery, nutty, and earthy hops. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like earthy hops, nutty malt, earthy, and buttery. zoucrew102 (1869) - - JUL 11, 2014
Bottle, thanks Russ! Subtle aroma with caramel malt as well as a bit of hops. Pours amber colored with a thin white head and very little lacing. Starts off with caramel flavors that are a little watered down. Finishes dry with a decent hop bite, but even that is a little watery. Good effort for an amber but there are many better ones out there. Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 16, 2011
Golden amber colour. Fruity, caramelly, fairly well-balanced amber. Nothing special, but if you like ambers, you’ll probably like this. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 10, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Coppery color. Nice malty aroma. Nutty caramel and toffee malt flavors are sweet, mild, and malt sugary. Boring but ok.

(sampled at 8th annual Foamfest at the CO state fair 8/27/11). Clear amber color. Medium off white head. Moderate caramel, toast/malt, and bread aroma. Flavor of the same. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing. avalancher34 (58) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - SEP 2, 2010
On tap at the SLV Brewing company. This beer looks better than it tastes. Pours crystal sparkling bronze, with a smidgen of a head. I thought I was in for a treat, but after one sip I realized it’s a mediocre amber. There’s just not much flavor going on here. Not very complex, not very refreshing. I’ve had it multiple times, served slightly warm, which I found different for the style.
Hell, Killians Irish Red has more flavor than this! Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 28, 2010
Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of carmel, bread and fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and cridp with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light fruittiness with a crisp dry chalky finish. drjay44 (3708) - Salida, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2009
Sampler at the brewery. Pours a thin head of short duration, with a bit of lacing, over a light amber (SRM 8) clear body....nose has light caramel and biscuit.....taste is slightly sweet to start then went to mild hop bitterness, finishing dry.....mouth feel is medium, carbonation low. A mild Amber overall.
