On tap at San Marcos, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out light toasted bready caramel malt, not much else. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted bready caramel and a touch of resinous hops. Simple and tame. Can’t compete with the competition.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear dark amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is toast and light chocolate malt, nutty notes and earthy hops. Flavor is nutty and toast malt, light earthy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

"Another non-descript red going for the caramel/toffee/hop balance. A little more bitter than some reds, but doesn’t do anything at all that stands out. Just ok."

At brewery for lunch break. No aroma. Flavor is way to roasts for Amber and butterscotch flavor. Stuck to tongue...just unpleasant. Needed to eat their winderfull fries with tons of salt to wash it down.

Pours amber in color with an off-white head. Toffee, bread, and toasted malt aromas. Lightly herbal in terms of the hop character with a mild yeast character and some fruit notes. Tastes of sweet toasted malt, toffee, and bread. Very light hop character, mostly some herbal and floral notes with a mild bitterness.

Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2012
A clear amber/light brown colored beer, with a light beige head. The aroma of fruits and some hop. The taste of flat fruit and watery. A little bitter. It seems to be a cough syrup. The aftertaste some sweet and some bitter.

crossovert (12667) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 28, 2012
A toasty amber ale. It doesn’t bring much else to the table. It is exactly what they found in their first homebrew booklet.

2.4
Ungstrup (37324) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 7, 2010
Draft. An amber beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, butter, and lots of caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish.
