"Not feeling this one either. Would have been ok with regular old nitrogen, but on cask, waaaay too boring. Couldn’t get much of anything in the way of smell or taste. I know it’s a light sessionable style, but this was pushing the boundaries."

Cask pour is a hazy orange color with a white head. Sweet bready malt, light citrus, and very strong apple and pear esters. A bit of toast, plenty of fruit, and some sugar. Lots of sweet fruit and malt to this one. A light citrus quality, some toast, pears, apples, and lots of cider qualities. A very mild bitterness, a bit of yeast, and hints of caramel. Taster from cask at brewery. Looks like light orange. Smells like almost nothing. Reminds me of water. Overall 4 of 10. I may just not like the style but not a lot going on with this beer. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - FEB 27, 2011
From the beer engine poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice light malty hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Listed simply as ESB on cask at the brewery. Pours brown/amber with a big, creamy white head and good lace. Smells sweet and light, plain malts and some slight dish towel. Tastes sweet malty, smooth, kind of plain but still ok. Some nice, earthy hops as well, slight bitter on the finish. English style for shizzle. Medium body, smooth carbonation. Cask at the brewery. Great amber color with a nice cascading head. Nice bready malty aroma. Smooth taste with a little bitterness, pretty decent drinker. Dogbrick (12936) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a mostly clear pale orange color with a compact and creamy ivory white head that diminishes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Sweet malty aroma with touches of floral hops. Medium, clean body with a balanced hops and malt profile. The finish has notes of caramel malt and resiny hops but is short-lived. Slightly above average overall.
