mcberko (18390) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 11, 2017
On tap at San Marcos, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very light, with gentle spicy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with dry biscuity malt and gentle herbal, light spicy hops. Pleasant but boring blonde.

slowrunner77 (12451) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"Not bad for what it is, a slightly hoppier than usual golden ale. The hops are hay and grass, the flavor ever so slightly sweet and quite light. Decent food beer."

blipp (9501) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. A little bit of grainy sweetness, low bitterness, and not much else. Relatively clean--not perfectly clean, but drinkable.

2.9
BrewBoxer (2652) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 6, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a golden color with a nice drinkable taste. Very standard but decent . Good for a flagship ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 23, 2013
On tap at the brewery in San Marcos, served in a tasting glass. Pours clear golden with a tiny remnant of a head that leaves a trace of lace. The nose has notes of grass and grain. The flavour is medium sweet with grass and grainy malts with just a hint of honey. The finish is moderate in length with continuation of the grass and grain notes. On the palate, it is light-medium in body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a fairly unremarkable golden ale. 2013-03-22

brokensail (16599) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Starts off with an aroma of sweet malt, bread, and a hint of honey. Some grassy hops, a bit watery, and maybe some yeast. Sweet flavor with a fair amount of grass. Somewhat watery, some bread, yeast, and a mild floral hop character. a light tartness on finish.

crossovert (13410) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 28, 2012
A pretty insipid blonde ale. Watery, buttery, undeveloped. Yet somehow the head brewer thinks it is worthy.

Ungstrup (38139) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 7, 2010
Draft. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of butter, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, butter, and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish. I think it is off - but why then serve at the brewpub?
