The Philippine’s first and only low-calorie beer. It has the same refreshing, full-flavored taste and alcohol content of the nation’s favorite brew, San Miguel Pale Pilsen.

Can, shared by GeirOve. Biggish white head. Pale yellow, fizzy body. Harsh corn and lightly skunked hops on the nose. Thin and watery, with a harsh and grainy malt charcter. Notes of lemonade. Short watered down ending. Highly forgettable.

larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 23, 2011
Small white head doesn’t last. Clear pale yellow body. Cardboard and wet socks aroma (WTF?) with floral compost notes. Mild mealy taste of nothing at all. Mild mouthfeel. Light, slightly thin, body. Dryish mealy aftertaste with slightly harsh herbal notes. Could be a lot worse. (0.33l can shared by gr0ve.)

Golden blond coloured beeer with a short white head and medium carbonation. Skunky malty hinted rather strange aroma. Medium palate. Finish is sweet, very short with some very light malty grainy hints. Not good.

Very average. Unremarkable, no characteristics, no defining taste or smell. Just watery grain alcohol. The beer isn’t light in alcohol, apparently it just has less calories, and though the brewer’s pale pilsen is slightly better, it’s not that much better - you might as well drink the light in Philippines where San mig is the only choice anyway.

Can from Thai supermarket. Sour stale malts, sulphur hints and aroma of cardboard. What’s not to like? :-P

This is nowhere near as good as the regular. This is basically just pale lager swill, created to make money only.

rmussman (1701) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Oh man. I don’t know what to say about this because we all know it is basically filapino bud light!

tkrjukoff (4334) - SWEDEN - JAN 11, 2011
Pours clear pale golden with a decent longlived huge white head leaving very pretty lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma is slightly grainy and sweet. Crispy mouthfeel. Flavor is acidy, watery, crisp and slightly sweet. Watery sweet palate. Not much of a finish to talk about.

Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - AUG 17, 2010
0.33 l can at Petalax Beer Festival 2010, thanks Timo A. Golden color. Appley and grainy aroma. Dry grainy taste with unpleasant rough finish.

dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2010
Pale chemical yellow, small soapy head. Aroma is grains, corn syrup, skunk. Flavour is a watery sweet mess with some metallic lemon. Very, very watery.
