The Philippine’s first and only low-calorie beer. It has the same refreshing, full-flavored taste and alcohol content of the nation’s favorite brew, San Miguel Pale Pilsen.

Very dirty smelling. Pale yellow with a white head. Light, bland stinky taste. Flavor of a light beer but abv of a full lager. Wth?

I’m from the Philippines and even I don’t drink this swill unless i’m a guest and it’s offered to me. Aroma is terribly nauseating, appearance is typical fizzy yellow. Taste makes me gag. No wonder it’s such a fad to serve beer near freezing here. People don’t know what good beer tastes like

tampierre (1419) - Pilsen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 14, 2013
Canned ; Gift from Philippines ; Malt, cereal and metallic aroma ; Clear yellow color with smaller head ; Sweeter taste with minimal dry finish ; Watery ; Not a good beer.

Bamsen78 (5562) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2013
Can. Pours pale straw with negligible white head. Skunky aroma with subtle touches of hops. Very mild flavour, mostly fo rice, water, grain and some sweetener. Very watery. Nothing to write home about, although somehow I expected something far worse.

MiP (15973) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2013
Can, 5%. Sweetish aroma, not so much malty as strangely farty and sugary. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is surprisingly sweet for a light beer. Not grainy or sour, so better than expected.

crossovert (13909) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 24, 2013
Nearly clear, water-like, easy to drink, no skunk, pretty bottle, shitty beer.

marcus (10670) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 21, 2013
Pours clear golden with a rich off-white head and a standard lager aroma. There is a very light pilsner malt flavor and little else.

Patrickctenchi (6731) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Pours clear, bubbly, gold with a tall, chunky white head. Aroma is grain, malt. Taste is malty, grainy, cardboard, water. Very carbonated. Drinkable for what it is...just don’t expect much.....fairly typical of style and origin.

Without a doubt my favorite beer. And the #1 reason is whenever I’m drinking one it means I’m HOME in the Philippines. Of course this is a biased review, but it’s my Home Beer!!!

ALLOVATE (3063) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 23, 2013
From an off-license in South Kuta, Bali.
Produces up quite effervescent with a lapsing, bubbly white head. Medium gold and sparkling otherwise. Dry, grainy, haystack aroma with a lingering hint of boiled eggs. Biting carbonation is prelude to a flat, soapy back-end and oddly gassy finish once it hits the stomach. Grainy, light sodden cardboard and grain husks before just a blister of old, leafy hops that offer a light bitterness. Not much else here. Just another SE Asian lager. (33cL, 4.9% ABV, BB 09/10/13, A-Mart, Kuta, Bali, Indonesia)
